Heard at the school drop off line today the Patriots Board is in shambles? Is there going to be a season this year or what? Registrations shoud have happened by now, correct? Any info would be great. We are trying to plan our summer sport activites.

True they are going to have a hard time getting all the levels filled. And that came from a board member, best thing to do is look into a new program.

There was just some board member changes. "Get out Now" same shit you say every year, and the numbers will be fine. It's going to be a great 2013 season!

If you assholes talking shit teach your kids to act like you, do the rest of us a favor and go some place else so we don't have to listen to you complain because your child with no athletic ability is sitting the bench.

As far as cheerleading goes, the squads all kicked ass at competition!! Those ladies did a great job with the girls.

One more thing, if you think you can do better, feel free to volunteer your time so show us all what needs to be changed.

Thanks.

The boarb member that just left is saying they wont have enough players.Maybe you should talk to that person, and get your facts straight.Your child must be the one with no athletic ability that is why ,you are still there.

The patriots have enough players, They are actually better off than they have been in years. Varsity and JV numbers will be up and that is the only level that suffered. You may not agree with how it is run, you may not even like who is running it, but there are a lot of kids proud to Patriots and willing to go out every week giving everything they got defending the town which we live. Give them the credit and respect that those kids deserve and leave their program alone.

Registration is this weekend for returning players and next weekend for new players. Last year was our first year in the SLW and both boys are coming back. We kept hearing how horrible it was going to be; the coaches and the staff were terrible, there werent going to be enough kids to even pla, etc.Thank goodness we didn't listen. We found it to be a great experience. From camp all the way to the Championship game. I encourage families to be a part of this group -that not only teaches the game but also how to be a team and a stand up kid.

Parents, do your children a favor and put them in a program that has success.Last year they were given a weak schedule just to stay in the league.Warriors ,KNIGHTS and Mustangs registration are coming up wait for that and give your child a chance at a successful program.See the difference for yourself. They are dropping board members and kids every year, this year is no differnt. And they want you to belive it will be.

Every Year, folks like you come on here bashing the Patriots which is fine, its your right. But lets see big picture. You send your kids to the other programs thinking how great they are. Again, that's OK. Your kid goes, rides the bench there and you feel good because you got a few more wins playing in another town. Which ,by the way, is ridiculous in itself to have no pride of where you live. Basically, you are what is called a wannabe. Probably too poor to live there so you have to live in one of Borgo's buildings here. But that is another story. In the end, the Patriots, Knights, Warriors, and Mustangs will grow up and play with each other in high school be it at West or Central, Those two teams are absolutely horrible and they are full of kids from the programs you admire. I am interested though. Can you post what you define as being a "successful Program".

There is no weak schedule in the playoffs. Must have one of those kids that sat the bench, then you went to New Lenox so your kid could sit the bench there as well.

Not taking anything away from the job those kids did.My boy was a two way starter on the warriors. He never got a chance with the patriots because all they play is daddy ball with that program.Maybe if they give all the kids a chance to shine more family's would stay. Will see what you are saying at the end of this year.See you next year at the warriors sign up.

First off I call B.S. on your kid starting, secondly I teach my children to be loyal to their community. There will be no going to another town for anything we can do in our own.

GO PATRIOTS!!!

I get you are a coach and your child only plays because you are a coach.Don,t feel bad if thats the only way your child can play then you are doing what you can for him.Thats just the way the Patriots work daddy ball first every other kid is a second thought.Hopefully the patriots will play the warriors this year. They can only hide from the top teams in the River Valley so long.

Actually no, but thank you for the projection. Good luck to the team you coach. Hope you were never in the Military, you would have fought for the enemy! Schmuck!

Why are you so angry with the Patriots. Issue seems bigger than your son not getting to start. It was out first year, they gave my son a chance to try different posisitons. He worked hard and he got a starter position. His dad is not a coach. If your son actually was a starter on the Warrioirs then good for him. Both of you should be happy with that and enjoy it.

Thank you ,It seems that Patriot dad just wont tell us that he is a coach and the only reason he,s child starts is that reason.Everyone knows it is daddy ball at that program.

I have kids on 3 of 4 levels. The Varsity coaches have no kids on theirs. JV are not coaching their own level. The LW coach has a kid on SLW and the SLW has a kid on LW. Get over yourself with the thought that Daddy Ball doesnt happen in New Lenox. Its even worse. Do you honestly think that a person shouldn't coach if they have a kid playing. If you knew the facts, you would know that more than half of the Coaches don't even have boys. The Whole Varsity staff are cheer parents. We get it, you're unhappy with the Patriots. Even if I was unhappy with my team, I would still have my kid play with his friends in his town. While you are on this site anonymously bashing the Patriots, Nobody even knows, recognizes or cares that your kid is not on the team. If you asked your kid, he would probably tell you that he misses his friends.

I know the facts and of course you hide from the facts. The truth is that program is sinking fast. Good luck maybe you can have more kids for your husband the coach .Hope we play the Patriots this way you will see the better program. But wait they wont play the warriors. They want to pick who they play.
