Peterson Won't Get Guns, Son May

Drew Peterson won't get back 10 guns authorities seized last year, but his police officer son appears likely to end up with the weapons, Peterson's attorney said Tuesday.

None of those guns have been used in a crime. they should be released to Drew and his card restored. His rights have been violated.

just because we can do something, doesn't mean we should....erring on the side of caution with an obviously mentally disturbed individual would be prudent, don't you think?
I would question his clear thinking on owning a weapon based on his complete lack of concern for his four children in the home right now....
I think for their sake, he should not have weapons around....
he admitted one of those guns allegedly discharged 'accidently' when Stacy was still living there...(he actually tried blaming her for that)...She claimed he shot at her through the floor to scare her when she went to the garage for a soda...
would you hand guns back to a guy who is obviously not runnning on all cylinders like this with kids in the house?

well said. why hasn't someone taken the kids from him though? do they really nee dmore proof of an abusive relationship to do it? one dead wife and one missing wife isn't enough? too much coincidence for me.

There is some property that I think he could just give to anyone. That would be property that doesn't have ownership legally defined. This would likely include things like furniture, clothing, bicycles, etc.

Larger items that have registered owners or titles would certainly require all of the documented owners to sign before property could be transferred. This would include land ownership, businesses, homes, cars, motorcycles, guns, etc.

This person is not to be trusted, he is a bad ass through & through...a shame to the fine police officers out there. His weapons should be conficated & destroyed ASAP.
