Someone asked me why I will not vote for mayor Noak. What is my problem with him? Give us evidence! Well, the list is very long. Not much of what he does resembles qualities of a leader. He talks the talk but he doesn’t walk the walk. I have personally seen the village manager take a bullet for him, while he is doing everything to keep his hands clean. When I personally turned to him with a concern, he dismissed me without really listening. When he makes deals, his primary motive is what is best for himself, even if it's not in the best interest of the village residents, and if you happen to be on his way watch out! You don't have to look too far to see what a bully he is. Tomorrow night during the board meeting he will introduce the new ordinance that infringes on one thing we all value so much, freedom of speech. No doubt he is the modern day American dictator, but for only 62 more days.

Do you honestly think McMichael knows a thing about running a village?! Noak has brought many jobs and new businesses to Romeoville. So he dismissed you... Boohoo

And what is your point? What is the big deal? No one is taking away your first amendment rights. You’re whining on Topix aren’t you? If you have an issue that you feel is not being addressed go to the papers. Oh wait, you would have to sign your real name. I guess that presents a problem doesn’t it? All you have accomplished here again is to blather out nonsense. No wonder you are on Mongo’s side.

The attachment is standard language for any public comment portion of a public meeting. I'm not a huge Noak fan but this is a red herring. Find something better than this you doofus.

I think this concern holds merit. The village president gets to be the sole decider on when a citizen can speak or even if they can speak? That doesn't sound like representative government to me. No one (Noak or otherwise) should have the right to do that. Even if the crazies come out to talk, you have to let them speak.

When are they voting on this?

The only change in the ordiance is that you have to sign in with your name and address. Otherwise nothing has changed. This is the same exact ordiance that most other communities have. Bolingbrook is far more restrictive.

i believe that most boards only allow petitions from the public that were filed with the village prior to the meetings if i am not mistaken..i think thats what roberts rule states..so..our board is pretty lenient to allow us to speak 3 minutes. can you imagine you come to a board meeting and you have no limitation on time, everybody would be in there forever. besides like the guy before said the only thing changes is that they want you to sign in if you request to speak...quite frankly, i am watching the board meetings on rptv and it appears everybody is done with what they have to say but mr strom, who at every boardmeeting has something stupid to say..and yes, im saying stupid because like yesterday, if you would of read the changes you would of known what they are trying to change, weeks ago you brought your accident up and some light tht should be there..53 is not a village road, call idot, then he wants a ban on guns and assualt weapons in romeoville...this guy is mongos little.....lets see what he amuses me with next time i watch the meting

Mongo and company for being completely pompous and uneducated. Fred’s comment regarding Mongo was probably the best thing he ever did for Romeoville. I sincerely hope he gets better and is able to enjoy many more years with his family.

I've found that VoteNoakOut is unreliable as a poster, a leader, a father, and an American. He has ideas, but they are all for his own gain. He thinks nothing of the people of Romeoville and is a really bad person.

My proof? Uh. Well. Um. I have proof, I just can't fit it all within this text box here. Says I only have 3,633 characters left!

What is up with Joe???
Did you get permission to "almost" question "The Dictator"???
Anyway, it looks like you going to be out come April 9, so go for it Joe, let them have it!
You are the lame-duck trustee after all.
And what the hell do they mean by: The village is also considering adding basketball courts or volleyball courts inside" and how much is this going to additionally cost us? 3, 4 millions??? Wasn't this part of the plan from the beginning?
Watch out John, the truth about this project will come out before polls open. Everyone will find out what only a few know right now. People around you and close to you hate your guts and they're always willing to share.
