Sean McQinn killed

Someone said above why do we think there was more than one person. Why shouldn't the obvious be known to us. Are we going to take the word of a killer as the final word? Or will it be discovered there were more people involved in this set up crime? Did he have money? Did he bring money? Did someone give him money? Why was he shot? Where is the evidence other than this guy saying there was more than him involved. We think it needs to be investigated and know for sure he was the only one and what happened. As far as his friends are concerned, there are a lot of things that do not make sense. Maybe all of the people have been interviewed and maybe not. Who knows, I do not. But at the trial, it should come out.

Yes he brought money! He was shot so the he could be robbed! It doesn't matter what you think! When someone is killed and gone orever alit of things will not make sense. You will not find your answers on this site. Go to Joliet PD, the States Attorneys office and attend the teail unless the idoit who put this in motion just pleads guilt.

You think what you think and we will think what we think. Crimestoppers will get all the information to pass on to the correct authorities. The question is where did the money come from? He did not have any money. His relatives knew that. The money came from a person that had that kind of money. So, who provided that money? The man in the moon? It sure was not sean's. It does not matter what you think either! He was killed and all questions about his problems and acquaintances need to be put out there! You do not have the last word...the courts will! The trial will be very interesting!

Doesn't really matter where or how he got the money. Maybe he borrowed it, maybe he did previous drug deals and kept turning it over or maybe he had investors who knew what they were investing in but not who he was buying from. Result is still the same. A rip was set up, Sean is dead and one person is arrested.
Questionable comments

Listen, you lost this debate big time. You are not in charge and Sean did not have any money, it came from someone in this town most likely. You are so sure of everything, it really makes a person wonder why you keep this up and not let it to the law. Crimestoppers was happy for the information that was provided to them. You are the loser, and Sean is the winner! He may be dead but he is going to get justice in the end! You will learn to keep your opinions to yourself since they are wrong. I give no opinions only that I believe the law has the final sa.y yet,you say Sean is guilty before the trial. Very interesting! You have some interesting statements in here! This set up was a set up by more than one person and the police will get to the bottom of it. The trial is yet to happen so in your eyes, a person is guilty before they are proven guilty. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Keep it up, as you can have the last word on here, but not the last word in this trial and clearing of Sean's name.

You are guilty only when proven guilty of something, not by hearsay. Let people talk all they want with their high and mighty ideas of everything but the courts will find out if Sean was guilty of anything that night that his life was taken. Some people are so shameless that they have already condemned him over the killer's statements. Not a piece of evidence was given yet!

You label the arrested person as a killer because he admitted to his part but yet you don't believe him for anything else. He never said he shot him! Sure what ever fits your opinion is good but discard the rest, what a bunch of tools. The courts will never decide what Sean is guilty of because they are not going to ever charge him with anything. We all care about Sean but his decision to be part of this caused him to loose his life. The only difference between you and I is he fact I accept he did something very stupid and paid a horrible price. If you were his friend I'm sure we know of each other and possible met.

I do not accept anything as fact. I do not accept the killer's statements either. I will accept what the court says after the trial. I am not going to condemn Sean on hearsay.I think the court will call witnesses at the trial about his character. He was a good man and not a drug dealer. You can say what you want but until he is proven guilty of something, he is not guilty! As far as the guy who said he was not in it alone, I base my judgment on my own thinking. Someone gave Sean that money if there even was money involved. I have not heard of any evidence at all that is concrete. It is not for anyone to judge Sean especially, since we are not the jury on this. I pray for his family that he was not guilty and that this guy had it in for him being a business partner and lied like a rug! It would be easy for him to do. It would be easy for him to escape getting life by talking and telling the truth. It might just happen and he will tell the truth in the end. Until that time, Sean is NOT guilty of anything until it is proven!

I am not going to say anymore on this matter. It is only fair to wait for the trial. Sean's kids have suffered enough from people saying their dad was a drug dealer when no proof or evidence presented itself. I will wait as his friend and hope the law can bring the facts out from this matter. It is not for us to judge.

Once again, they will never find Sean guilty of anything. They do not charge dead people with crimes. Now you don't even believe there was money there. This may never go to trial because the person arrested can just plead guilty for his involvement then be sentenced. During sentencing they may allow family to comment, which of course will only show one side of him. Everyone has secrets but most of you will never know he real Sean.

Unfortunately the truth may never come out. My sister was murdered, the police arrested the person who did it, they lied in court, their friends lied in court and before the case finished they copped a plea. We never heard the truth of what happened and the sentencing didn't bring us closure or justice for my sister. It sucks - but it is how our system works.

The other thing to remember, as we have learned with my sister, you may think you know someone, but if you weren't with them 24/7, you can never be sure what they were doing. Not saying Sean was doing anything wrong, just saying that in general.
Real friendship

Real friendship is when you want the truth. Did the so called murderer have the money? Did the police find out where the money came from? If Sean as mentioned borrowed it, where did he borrow it from and who? Who had anything against him and for what? He was shot to death and this guy said there were others, were there? A trial is needed and ALL, yes all, witnesses need to come forth. If anyone hated him, why did they? Were there any problems? Did he have a phone and was it analyzed? The truth all of it needs to come out. He was a human being and it is important to know. I am personally going to send all the posts on here to the television stations and hope the investigators will look into it. It is important for his children. We will not stop until the truth comes out. If the truth is what the so called murderer said then tell us all the answers to the questions, not just write it off. It is fair to find out. Crimestoppers will get all the comments also. We plan on knowing from all what really happened not supposition or rumors or what ONE person thinks.

I am with you. I knew him to be a fine person and he never did drugs ever! He was a people person and had a great personality plus loved his kids. He would not do anything like that. His life should not be pushed under a rug! Can't wait for the details to come out. If you know anything, please contact the police and crimestoppers or the Chicago television stations and tell them. I hope they find out the answers about his death and not take the word of a guy that they caught there ONLY. There is more to this than meets the eye. Rumors don't do it or general thoughts...too bad, nice guy, over with, etc. We want the complete truth and an investigation. The television stations have investigative reporters.

We will pursue this until justice is served for our friend. He may be dead but he is going to get justice from the courts. We are pursuing it with all the names and circumstances and the courts/investigators can go from there. It is a worthy cause for a worthy father. We will not just say it is over until it is over.

He never did drugs, what a bunch of BS. Cannabis is a drug and he's done that. It has been investigated and you will never find out the complete truth. Only people who know the truth are those who were there that night and they are locked up, possible gone by the time the police arrived or dead. Your answers are not on this site and never will be.

drugs. Knew him, grew up with him, hung out with him and know he did do drugs during his life. Maybe the cops should talk to the kids who trained in the gym. Some of them know what he was into out of everyones view.

Really grew up with him, and he did NO drugs, none! Who is telling you this nut stuff. Must be a reason you are so much of a liar! Of course, I know why. It is a friend of a friend you are hoping gets into politics here. Got it! Shameful! You care not for his kids that you would lie like that! Sorry, buddy, you are wrong. We know why you are doing this, change your name again! Where is your information coming from?

When is Sean McGinn's going to get a stone? I just visited the grave with my two sons and there is only the bottom laid but no stone. It is almost a year now and the boys still remember him. That is a sign of a good human being when you make an impression on kids the way he did. There were a couple of trinkets on his grave, and the children felt bad. He was a role model for these kids. I am proud they knew him and thank him for all he did.

Knew him, liked him, and thought he was a wonderful man. We, a group of parents, still think that of him. We are waiting for the trial and all going to go. Sean is not going to die in vain. We want the killer or killers exposed in this staged murder! In this day and age of little money that reward should attract people who know the truth. According to the police it is staged so therefore they know something already. We are praying for positive results for his family in the continuing investigation into his murder.
