I'm not sure any more. Current board members files complaint and then withdraws it? Maybe the facts are much different than we believe. What was the complaint and why was it withdrawn? Why would a current board member do something like that? And he supports Noak? Whats going on? Maybe we do need a change here. Maybe Noak and Griffin both need to go. You know Griffin woudnt make a move like that without consulting the mayor.

the article about the accusations are in one of the earlier newspapers and if you read the complaint it holds merit. im not sure why it was withdrawn but i really am getting sick of the tactics that mongos campaign places signs all over town ( i mean the intimidation and illegal placement) which i heard now several people will file complaints also..i cannot approve of mongo as Mayor because as of today i dont know what his vision is for our town...do you ? with Noak i know what he has done and what he is planning to do, with Mongo all i know is what i hear and that is that he is filming already....and his comment he did not know that the slaughter was selling the mongo for mayor t-shirts--come on..you do know he is the Head Coach of this Football Team. I also will not vote for him because of the people he associates himself with..that is a mayor concern of mine plus ...WHAT IS HIS VISION ? WHAT IS HE GOING TO CHANGE ?Please let us know so we can evaluate our option, until then..the only option is Noak...

After reading the article though it does make Griffin (and Noak) look bad that the hearing committee found the complaint "baseless". Makes it look like they are grasping at straws to get rid of the opposition.

If McMichael is so wrong, then why not let the voters decide instead of playing games?

First there was no hearing committee it never went to the committee. Second the hearing officer only makes a recommendation and they never used the word "baseless". Futhermore, there never was a final determination.

The most glaring thing you are wrong about this that this NEVER had anything to do with McMichael being on the ballot. It was a request into Mr. McMichael's campaign finance activity. The fact is that Mr. McMichael continues to try and push the boundaries of the law. It is not unusual for these types of inquires to be made or withdrawn.

Most importantly it is only Mr. Michael that is trying to make this an issue. He is the only one going to the press here.

And guess what none of this has anything to do with the fact that Mr. Michael is still not quailified for the position and can't fully expain any issues.

I think most intelligent and informed people realize Noak is the better person for this position, however, when I see the many many posts on here about and defending Noak and the current board, it leads me to believe that they are worried about Mongo. If you are worried about Mongo, you need to resign because he is a moron and if you can't beat a moron, then you are a bigger moron. But seriously, quit attacking Mongo and let him continue to embarrass himself and hopefully the informed voters show up and vote for the better of the two candidates, unlike the presidential election. I don't agree 100% with the current admin or Noak, but it is much better than the alternative and Romeoville is moving forward. I consider myself to be informed on village matters but am getting pre election burnout on the crap accusations and attacks here. As an informed voter, I would like to see Noak continue to post accomplishments and progress and give up the attacks. I sometimes get upset that he stoops down into the boggy marsh with the other reptiles to try and discredit them. Make them step up to the plate and discuss issues that are worthy of discussion and make them prove something. Mongos inability to discuss 1 issue intelligently speaks volumes, more than you could ever gain by attacking him here on this forum. If you vote for Mongo your an idiot and god help us all if Mongo is mayor and Spandonidis then feels empowered to roam the halls of village hall once again, because he is as big a sleaze as Mongo. Mongo learned the temp address thingy from Spando, two peas in a pod. Mongo, you can also take some advice, you better step up and prove to us your mayor material or your 15 minutes are up buddy.

To all Mongo fans.....he is saying things he wants to address yet these are things not related to the office of Mayor. Taxes, water fees, forclosures,schools......all the buzz words in many campaigns, but not in this campaign because the Mayors office doesn't affect, effect, control, make policy, etc. Wasting our time does he really think " this talk "is going to get him elected? Does he think that the people of Romeoville are that stupid.....does he think he's that much of a celebrity that he can talk nonsense and people will vote for him? I believe the people of Romeoville are smarter than he and his handlers think...let's not move backwards as a community......please see that he has no value in being our Mayor!
