Mayor first order of business is to have Steve Gulden stop using his municipal vehicle for personnel use, he should be driving a personnel vehicle to work like you and the other village employee's do and pick up a fleet work vehicle like is done at Water Works. Does a Village Manager really go out on that many immediate calls that a dedicated vehicle is needed?

Second order of business, can you send someone through town and remove all of your signs as well as Steve McMichael's, these sign's especially the larger one's are an endangerment to traffic flow and children crossing the streets safely.
you are sad

First senior staff in most communities have cars. Its a very normal practice. Get your head out of the hole it has been in and wake up to the real world.

Second it is not the responsibility of the village to remove signs. The various campaigns have ten days to get them down. I have seen most of them already out today.

Final its your type of nonsense that the overwhelming majority voted against.

Can't have one day without negative comments ? Did the 2017 McMichael campaign start already ?

Lol. Sheesh. Give them a day or two to clear the signs out before ya get all testy about them. Also, if you consider them such an extreme threat to drivers and/or children, maybe pull a few down yourself. I'd rather the Mayor keep his attention on more pressing things.

Maria, I was driving through town today and see they have started to remove the signs. As far as the village manager and personnel use of a municipal vehicle you should attend a village meeting or approach Mayor Noak. He nor any of the trustees that oversee village activities would tolerate nor condone unethical behavior.

i think they have 7 days, so by the 16th all have to be removed. mary..i dont know if you know how many signs are bought during a campaign, but it is impossible to get them removed within a day..especially with the amount purchased between the 2 candidates for mayor...if they bother you so much, stop and pick up a few...i did

I took the sign out of my window Thursday. It was picked up in garbage Friday. I did my share.

Village Manager is on 24hr a day call 7 days a week and probably does a lot more than you ever imagine after hours and before he even gets to the office. As for the signs McTool was the worst offender about throwing his signs anywhere everywhere most of the time on vacant spaces without permission of landowners.
