Take this weekend to think about what you want answered. Then post. He will be sworn into office on Tuesday.

What did you learn over the past 8 years that will make you a better candidate than when you were defeated the past 2 elections?

What are your plans to bring businesses to this dead town, and when will we be seeing a stop light at Smith/Gouger and 52?

Why don't you go to the village board meetings and ask these questions? I hope Doyle has dignity and the intelligence not to be posting on Topix.

Ummm....
HE WAS BEHIND THE DESK BEFORE!
And didn't do much as far as growth policy is concerned. Just look back into the archival records from the village. He had no plans to deal with big development growth and was WAY OVER HIS HEAD. All of the SSAs are attributed to J Doyle.
Hopefully, the economic setbacks will give him "a head start."

By the way.... HE IS NOT A MAJORITY WINNER. More people who actually voted did NOT VOTE FOR HIM! Unfortunately, he is now at the helm of our municipality. I can only PRAY that he does not change annexation agreements that would allow developers like LAKEWOOD HOMES in our area.(They were courting him when he was mayor 8 yrs ago.....)

Also....
You can fire the ADMINISTRATOR and PANKHE.
But -
WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW? I noticed that the vallage records show you really had no plan 8 years ago.
Perhaps that has changed(?)
- doubt it:)

Sure, he could fire him. As I recall, Tom Pankhe worked for the village when Doyle was mayor.

Well his first order of business is to appoint his buddy Mike A. (the plant), to his old trustee position. As thanks for helping him get elected and splitting the anti Doyle voters. People in this town are easily fooled.

Will Doyle get us a pizza place?

NO. He never sponsored an Irish pub either. Or an Irish gift store. Or a pot-o-gold tournament. What he will do is make sure he puts a nice cap on his pension plans as both a mayor and a trustee. In return, the Village gets nothing. And oh, he makes sure his caddy Beemsterboer get his pension too. Fore, ball left of what's good.
