One dies in car race

Three vehicles racing resulted in one of the youth, 19-year-old Titus L. Amos, being killed Saturday night.

Need to get your facts correct on the "One dies in car" articale first thing it didn't happen on a Saturday or around 10:30. And they where not racing at the time of the accident, must imporant there was friends of the ones in the roll over when help arrived, its incorret to say that they left the scene. As a parent it harsh to hear that beening say that your child left his friend to die, when its not true. When a friend was holding his friend in his arms till help arrived and took over his care.

As I just read the story (a follow up story in the Riverton Ranger..yesterday's edition...Sunday), I am convinced that it is in fact you that needs to get their facts straight.

1. The crash DID in fact happen at approx 10:30 PM
2. The teens from the other two vehicles DID in fact flee the scene when help arrived.
3. There were in fact three vehicles involved in a DRAG RACE.

other FACTS you may not be aware of;

1. Ricardo E. Martinez, 22, is facing homicide charges.
2. Ricardo is facing two homicide charges, not just one.
3. Ricardo was the driver of the crashed vehicle.
4. Ricardo was drunk when the crash occured.
5. No one in the crashed Ford sedan were wearing seat belts.

You are correct however, in the fact that it happened on a Friday night, not a Saturday night...at 10:30PM Sept.4th.

shouldn't have been drinking and drivin and should not have been drivin unless they were expierenced. anyone who is expirenced knows not to drink and drive. and DO NOT leave the scene!
