Time will tell whether changes to the org chart for turf maintenance will prove useful. I agree that Matt Givens is the best choice to provide oversight. His team does a wonderful job with the parks and ball fields! And, the golf course and cemetary definitely have some opportunities to improve. It is obvious that Matt Givens takes pride in his work and community. As for compensation, whether it be for Givens or for the 39 hour/week part-time employees, I hope the City will reevaluate and ensure fair and equitable compensation. We might just keep a few good people around!

Why is it that Fort Morgan now seems to have a crisis concerning grass turf at the various parks, cemetary, and the all mighty golf course. We have several city employees assigned to turf management.Do we really need to pay another stipend to a "Grass Boss". Each department should take care of the turf they are now paid to manage. If not, other changes should be made.

Sounds to me like they are getting priorities down. We need the Oxygen. Kind of a slap in Hinkenloopers face, after all his rental property got cited for unattended vegataton.
