I had such a terrible experience at Semrow Family Vision. I wear glasses and wanted to switch to contacts, but neither doctor was willing to spend the amount of time that I needed to find a comfortable fitting contact. When I was trying out a trial lens, I expected the doctor to follow-up with me and make sure the contact fit properly so that I could move forward with wearing contacts. Instead, I was the one following up with them. Their customer service is poor and needless to say... I am still contactless after spending over $100 in their office.

I will never go to this place again. They will not release my contact RX to me because they are engaged in the practice of trying to get customers to only order their contacts through them. I have had two visits now and this last time I was told that I will need to have another visit for them to release my RX so I can order from a place where the price is significantly less. Shaima, Sherma, Sherpa, whoever she is that works the late part of the day, is very rude, doesn't know what she's doing, and feels the need to express to her customers how bad of day she's having. This place is a joke.

If you paid for the examination, you are legally entitled to the prescription without having to use any associated businesses that they are trying to use to sell your contacts. Contact the Iowa Stat Attorney's office.

I shows up twice to pick up contacts and they closed 15 min early. I called to explain the situation and they basically called me a liar. The guy at vision 4 less even tried to help me and he knew they were closed early. I was going out of town the next day and they wouldn't mail them to me unless I paid a fee. I think they should've mailed them since it was their fault. I never had a follow up with contacts and I had expressed that one didn't fit correctly. All in all nor customer service based at all
