I agree ^^^ mine works at Mach and I respect what he does and I'm proud. I know sure as hell I couldn't do more than half the things he has to. If any woman could, it ain't a woman.
Like my miner said "if you wanna call them women". I have worked doin some jobs my husband couldn't do and I wouldn't and couldn't do. But if a woman or minority can go ahead they will weed the bad seeds...as long as the almighty lawsuit word doesn't come up. And ppl r nuts they only gotta hire one of each minority give them the sh*t jobs that no one wants to do.

Oh yeah and I wouldn't want to do any of the sh*t jobs that are down there. I've always thought a worker in the coal mines is and always should be a man.

I feel the same but i do know alot of women goin for papers and yes they will use the woman issue...and they just lost their job as so did I...now isn't the time to apply for man or woman til we c what happens Tuesday. My husband wouldn't allow me to go to mines even if i wanted to...so im taking my opportunity to go to school and finally have me a white collar stable job

Maybe if everyone who isn't going to vote could write in big bird or George Washington we might send a message to DC that their system and their candidates suck

I have known many women who can outdo many men. Several men in the mines cannot physically do what has been stated in this bs blog.

If you are referring to Bain, and Bombardier closing, Romney sold his interest in Bain several years before they were involved in purchasing BMP, so don't believe anything that you hear and only half of what you see!

so you know this as to factual? Or because he said so? Be cause my research shows his retirement had clauses and they end after town yrs. from 2002. Was u employed there? If not let me enlighten you we was given the reason of decline in sales as reason for plant closing in Benton...did research here also....sales was on the increase! Just not high enough for bain. I was paid very well but in Mexico they can do my job for 3/4 less than me and no benefits. That is still yet to be factual. No I am just praying that my husband holds his job while I earn my degree. As I said in my opinion neither was good enough for me it was tough decision.

In all actuality in business and politics one will never know the truth and if no one believes that then they are foolish.

Then there is the fact that Bain Capital initially invested in BRP in August 2003. Mitt Romney effectively left management of Bain Capital in 1999, and officially left the company in August 2001. His retirement package was finalized and approved by remaining Bain Management partners in early 2002, well over a year and a half before Bain initially invested in BRP

Nonetheless you start a mulit billion dollar company then u just walk away from it....come on. So I guess 14million in Caymen Island....is that from being South American drug lord? Why else would u have off shore bank account.....so u don't get bust. I secretly am a millionaire I just chose to live in poverty. Do u believe that because I said so? But this subject is on the Mines not brp nor who is corrupt. Did u or do u work in the mines?

I did work in the mines as well as another local boat factory, but if you live in poverty, then you are in luck, because Barack is going to pass out more welfare in the next four years than anyone EVER imagined, you know it used to be that the democrat was for the working man, but this administration has become the party for the "no working" class! It is much easier to sit home and collect part of the 1.3 trillion dollars that our government paid out for fiscal year 2011, which is more than DOUBLE what food stamps and cash subsidies were in Obama's first "fiscal year" in the white house!

o trust me i can't sit at home and collect food stamps nor have i ever. But out of Brp closing I am going to school and earning a degree so I am thankful for Romney and my plant closure. Sure its gonna be tough for about 2 yrs and hoping and praying that my coal miner husband and so many others keep their jobs for so many reasons. So I am not so sure out of all of this why you are so defensive is it for women in the mines is it because i am a hard working woman with views and opinions or is it cause you think i believe that neither candidates was a good pick. Because as a American i am give the right to all.
