1 I didn't read anywhere that she is suspected as a victim of foul play. If she was, I hope the perpetrator is found and held responsible too. But I wonder if she just didn't have too much to drink and got disoriented and/or passed out and froze to death. Pretty easy to do if one has partied a little too hard. Regardless, its a sad situation and my condolences are with the family. |

More then likely she was too drunk and froze to death outside. It is a sad event, but it happens a couple times a year. |

1 As someone in the town and actually hearing about the events from people who live on the block where she found, and seen her leaving the bar: there is not enough information right now to pass any judgment on what actually happened. Drunk and disoriented doesn't really fly cause it's not like the first time she ever drank, this was a regular. Also, where she was found was too close to her home and in a really odd location. I for one have not ruled out foul play - maybe in the form of a "mickey" but we'll have to wait and see. Very scary to be in your safe little small town and have this happen. Prelimanary reports are saying no foul play but an autopsy is going to be done. I feel so bad for her husband and child, ugh. I can't imagine what they are going through. |

I grew up in Morris and haven't been back in a very long time. What was her maiden name? she is the same age as I am. A very sad thing and I really hope that it wasn't foul play. My heart goes out to her family and friends. |

Its too bad that a person can be so disoriented and intoxicated and no one can take the time to drive her home or make sure she gets there okay. It would be nice if more people that partied at the bars would look out for each other as friends should do so things like this would not happen.
That is also part of a bartender's job description. This is something that can be avoided, but no one takes the time to care enough to reach out and offer their assistance. A person would have to be really fricking intoxicated and disoriented in order to pass out in below zero weather in the snow. |
