Ted Cruz is about the only Senator in Washington that speaks for the nearly 70 or so odd percent of Americans who are opposed to Obamacare.

The rest of the Senators, including our own Tennessee Senators, Alexander and Corker, seem to be determined to vote for closure, which will allow the democrats to easily strip out the defund language from the spending bill.

Ted Cruz is trying to stop them, and force the Senate to vote on the bill just like the House wrote it, with the defund language intact.

Then the Senate Republicans would have to vote "Yea" or "Nea" on it. And thier defense of Obamacare would be a lot more obvious.

Ted is trying to make thier trickery obvious.

I wish Tennessee has a good a Senator as Ted Cruz.

But...maybe we can have him for President?

I would a lot rather have him than Hillary, or a John McCain clone (like last time).

Go Ted Go! 70% of America is with you!

I think I would vote for him

Here is a link to watch live coverage of Hero Senator Ted Cruz talking to stop Obamacare...

http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/cvpli...

He bravely fight the democrats and republican elitist alike in the Senate, to spare America from the loss of our freedoms.

Men like this are the ones that made America great.

Surely, this is a heroic stand, much like the 300 Spartans who stood firm against the overwhelming Persian invaders at the battle of Thermopylae.

God Bless Senator Ted Cruz. I wish we had 99 more Senators as good as him!

Nothing at all like the 300 Spartans. He is a blow hard. I am not a supporter of Obama Care however, the law was passed by congress, signed into law by the president and after a legal challenge was upheld by the United States Supreme Court. It is the law of the land until a Republican congress and president throws it out. This disgusting filibuster attempt is nothing more than a toddler throwing a tantrum. If he succeeds in his filibuster attempt the Republicans will lose the mid term elections due to the shutdown of the federal government. All because of a Canadian toddler hissy fit.

I think that the main reason republicans are against obamacare is that they are afraid it will work. The best way that they could have combated this health care law was to have presented a better one and passed it. That way they could have been for something instead of just being against something. They are like Don Quixote jousting against windmills.

Britain has socialized medicine. Its called the NHS.

The government is in total control, and no one can challende the NHS.

The people are used as political tools. They are diagnosed with whatever trendy socialist leftist illness of the day suits the socialist agenda. 1 in 4 is diagnosed with mentalist illness.

A mental illness diagnosis gives the NHS even more control of one, you see.

And now, psychologist in the UK want to just up the age of adulthood to from 18 to 25!

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2013/09/25/psyc...

You will have to be 25 years old before you can be an adult in the UK!

Why?

Control. Socialism is all about control. Obamacare is all about control.

Besides, Obamacare is not just a disaster, its the most aggregious, outrageous attack on our freedom in our lifetimes.

From the most radical leftist, outlandish, out of control socialist administration in American history.

I cant see how Ted Cruz trying to stand up and defend our freedom is somehow detrimental to the GOP... the party that used to be for smaller government.

But, its over now, Cruz did all he could. But he couldnt fight all the Republican Judases, like Corker and Alexander. He couldnt save the country single handedly.

So, the deed is done. The Senate Republicans are scheduled to betray us at 1 PM (the 13th hour betrayal).

Ted Cruz is a Reagan Republican, surrounded by the new GOP in the Senate, which is a party of Judases.

Ted Cruz is just grandstanding in order to shore up his credentials with the imbecile demographic in preparation for a 2016 presidential run. Looks like it's working.

And the GOP is looking like a bunch of pantywaist, surrender monkeys. They seem to be ever ducking the real fights, while making useless "show votes" that we all know will go no where, and lead to nothing.

Possibly the most despised man in America among the republicans, is probably John McCain. He is probably less liked than Obama himself by republicans all over America.

And those GOP surrender monkeys (like Alexander and Corker) just find dirty procedural gimmicks to set up the win for the democrats, while making yet another useless "show vote". But only after they make sure the democrats are going to win.

Like the fight in the Senate now. A closure vote, is a vote for Obamacare. And Corker and Alexander are going to make the closure vote.

The few Republicans who do stand up and fight, like Ted Cruz, are attacked by the McCains and the Corkers and the Alexanders. Its maddening. They say it makes the GOP look bad when somebody stands up and fights for the republican voters (who are livid at the constant GOP surrenders).

How is Cruz making the GOP look bad? Isnt the GOP supposed to be the party that is for smaller government?

As it is, I see the GOP loosing many more seats in both houses in the next elections. And I think of that will be because the republican voters are going to vote out a lot of them, with the help of the democrats.

Republicans have long memories and small patience, when it comes to Judases and surrender monkeys.

United Kingdom life expectancy rate 80.75 years. United States life expectancy rate 78.64 years. A couple years does not sound like much but when you are my age a couple more years could give me the opportunity to see my grandchild graduate high school.

So you would prefer that people vote for the GOP elite? You like having them in office?

You must have enjoyed the Bush years then?

But hey, if you want to support the John McCains and Romneys of the GOP, then that is your right to do so. Dont let me get in the way.

Well, Tennessee folks are laughing at the rest of the country, thats for certain sure.

Seen the bankrupt ruins of liberal leftist Detroit lately? They were managed into oblivion by a string of liberal mayors and city councils. Now they are the laughingstock of the world.

Reccon we care if they laugh at us?

Lunatics will laugh at anything.
