Most of the rest don't pay taxes. How are they footing the bill?

The middle class got stuck with the bill. Remember Romney never wanted to reveal his liability? It turned out he paid 14%, and the press reported that he admitted he got a deferment which enabled him to pay as little as 11% this year on millions in income? GE paid zero on $4billion? Remember that Pop? The middle class fall into the 15 to 25% bracket, but are hit by payroll taxes which increased when the break on them expired. The mega rich do not pay payroll taxes and avoid capital gains taxes by reinvesting. Republicans are for more tax breaks for the wealthy. That is a true statement. If you vote Republican, which most around here do, you are either rich or dumb as a rock pops.

The most financially sound States have Conservative Governors. I wonder why that is?

Yep, GE pays zero tax, though they make billions in revenue.

GE is a major contributor to the Democrat party.

And the wealthiest politicians are...Democrats.

The Democrats are elitist.

Grow up and get wise to something. The Democrats are for the poor people in name only. They enrich themselves, and they take away our freedom while enhancing thier own power.

They are elitist.

Obamacare was the Democrats selling our freedom to the insurance companies lobbyist, who wrote the Obamacare Law.

(Which just happened to have a provision of a guaranteed profit for the insurance companies. Imagine that!)

The rich Democrat elitist dont love the common man. They see us merely as a commodity, and nothing more. And a commodity that needs to be under strict control, like a work horse or something.

The GOP is the exact same. The GOP politicians of the "Rhino" class, will not repeal Obamacare even if they had the chance to do it. Why?

The insurance company lobbyist are getting to them, spreading around some filthy money.

Now, all of the sudden, the GOP politicians aint so interested in repealing Obamacare anymore?

Imagine that!

Which ones are really up there for our benefit?

None of the above.

You're misinformed NCTN. The top 40% actually pays 106% of our taxes. The bottom 40% pay a negative 9%.

I will ask again, who is the footing the bill for whom? Lose the liberal spin, the facts are the facts.

Regarding payroll tax, all employers pay payroll tax. I have no idea what your point is on this one. If you are talking about Social Security, this is a retirement plan. The annuity on this retirement plan is capped. Therefore, what you pay in is capped. Otherwise, it would be yet another tax.

GE gave major contributions to the Replubicans, and the CEO is a Replubican, and the tax breaks have been the same,
Replubicans have always been for tax cuts to the corporations and the rich, so what polictial party is the richest is just a smoke screen.
The GOP has fought every attempt to raise taxes on the corporations and the rich, but when the GOP spends money we don't have, just like the Democrats do, it's strangely justified and little time will be spent on FOX news about it. They both suck.

I don't give a hoot which side of the bogus 2 party system you are on. The fact is both sides are as crooked as a dog's hind leg and you supporting either one whole hog is just stupid. What we need is a truly independent politician. I really don't think such a critter exists, but if it did.......... You damn idiots, what will it take to make you realize either side is just like the other? Liberals, conservatives, left wing, right wing and all points in between......neither of the names define the true agenda. Everybody wants to feel important supporting one or the other regardless of the fact that they both are as full of shit as a Thanksgiving Turkey and stand out like a rock in an ocean of doubt. Get off your soapbox. When you support one or the other in spite of your true compromised feelings you have become a whore to which ever one sticks a tongue in your ear.

Do not be so dense. Let us know how much wealth the top 40% control. Let us know how much wealth the top 20% control for that matter. How many times greater is the income of those individuals compared to the bottom percentages of earners. Progressive taxation based on income is how our system is structured. A flat tax would give the wealthy even more breaks. Though they pay most of the taxes they pay less as a percentage than the middle class. You evidently think the wealthy should pay less and th spoor should pay. I think you are callous in that belief.
