Some are even allergic to the buprenorphine. I will allow your stupidity to pass, this one time. Next time though, I won't be so friendly. Can't say I blame you. Tese punks rarely show their true colors in anything other than an anonymous forum. When I discover who they are in the world. Against my nature, I do not attack them to their face, as much as I'd like to....I do passive aggressive shit, like they do....if I can discover their car unattended, I scratch it with my key...try it....until they get it fixed, you can enjoy it sometimes for weeks.

$1300??? I could never do that. Actually it was only $150 to start and $100 a week after that. They did help with the paperwork for my insurance to cover the cost of my Suboxone. It also includes the group meetings and private counseling can be scheduled. They were really cool about talking to my family so they would help be my support through this. I was surprised at how much time they took on the first appointment so they could know my history and what it took in my life to end up where I am today, things I never really connected before. I did not know there was actual specialists for addicts. Tell your co-workers to give them a try. I actually met a guy there whose boss was bringing him and paying for his visits cause he said it was cheaper to get him better than train a new employee, now That is cool! I have teenage kids and have really disappointed them but I hope they will look at me with pride someday, my Dr talked to them to help them understand it is a disease. They are such good kids and for the first time they seem committed to sticking by me for all of our sakes. Their number is 573-PATH, it is called Pathway Medical off the Volunteer Pkwy behind Lowes.

Bullshit. You are not allergic to Naloxone. You are either lying or you took Suboxone with some other shit in your system which precipitated withdrawal. That is not an allergic reaction. NO Subutex unless you are pregnant.

You obviously know nothing of the almighty glorifed suboxone. It is a lie promoted by pharmaceutical companies that want to sell product and they also have contract with places such as self refind and they also make subutex. Wow what do you know their the enemy too. It all about money people. Plus they are both habit forming.

Suboxen helps many however Naloxone is dangerous that's why it kills unborn children. It does not agree with everyone. People are allergic to naloxone it can cause hives, respiratory problems, extreme headaches, and gastrointestinal problems. Rare cases death, etc. Read the FDA findings before you determine it's the only drug for all.

Plus this crazy idea that you cannot abuse suboxone is a joke. So many people in the south; hell everywhere use to get pain pills now switch to suboxen and guess what they inject the strips pills whatever. It's a myth or lie promoted by big business that you go into Immediate withdrawal. That would only happen if one took a heavy pain pill then inject suboxone. However if all you take is suboxone then you can shoot it all day long. People who never used a needle with pills now use it with suboxone. It's dangerous but they don't care it helps them. It's probably a lot safer to inject to oh so bad subutex; never mind you can die form both but much easier with the precious suboxone.

No prescribing subutext unless your pregnant is stupid. It is descrimation first. Second it promotes drug traffic mg because its so hard to get. There are so called boyfriends and husband convincing their women to get pregnant just to get so that they can then sell it for 45 bucks each ( suboxone 25-30).

If an antibiotic disagreed with you then the doctor would prescribe another correct ? Yes they would.
So why not with suboxone and subutex.

FYI the main ingredient in each is Bupherine and it in its self blocks narcotics. Read the FDA pamphlet the you get from the pharmacy.

Good luck feeling any oxy after using subutex. You will be very disappointed because you will not feel it. You will waste your money on oxy 30 you better buy 20 cause that's how many to will take to feel any of it if any. I have seen these is pits in years because the thought subutex did not block pain pills; well guess what it does big time.

They are all bad and just another habit but a person has the right to not take suboxen and get subutex if it is what helps and the suboxone hurts them. It is a free country. Oh yeah I think that a myth too: because with all these doctors being controlled by big business pharmasutical companies that does not represent a free country or open market.

subutex is for people with hep c and pregnant women. suboxone/subutex is still an addition everyone just thinks its better bc its given by a doc. its not. just get over it. either you want to be sober or you don't.

The fact is, this is a serious life threatening illness and some juvenile woman got on here saying ignorant juvenile things.this is an adult issue and the man let her know it. Notice she didn't come back?

Save that self righteous horseshit for the church club cult group. This is serious stuff and peoples loves are being saved. I don't blame him for his anger.

Hope that helps you understand

First thing to get out of the way is this. I came on here trashing Watauga Recovery because something fraudulent hit my credit. I made the assumption that it was them. Whoops !!!! They had nothing tondo with it whatsoever and the girl answered my email and found out it was just this fraud group that the ignorant lawmakers of Tennessee won't protect us from. An elderly person would have fallen for it. But they aren't there for the people.

I only went once to watauga and then I went a different route. They do a blood test at watauga that costs $1305 and they don't even tell you about it. That it's going to cost that much. Im sorry. My insurance paid some and I had to pay like $679. Never even saw the results. That's just BS.

I found out that comparatively speaking, my level of addiction was dwarfed by others. I simply broke my foot. Got on pills and couldn't get thru the withdrawal. I went to another clinic that gave me 90 of the strips. I was supposed to take 3 per day. I took 1/4 of one piece per day. I took 1/12 of what they gave me and over a year cut back more and more. And when I stopped I had zero withdrawals.

The docs use a chart given to them by the pharma companies right? So I made a one month supply last almost a year and still had about 14 when quit ...... They don't mean to, but they way over prescribe because the greedy drug companies want you on their suboxone. Honestly, I never suffered a bit just taking 1/4 of one strip. I literally took 1/12 of what the maker said I should...... Suboxone saved my life. Everything's fine now, been five months and no desire or nothing. Hope it helps.

Ok first off, Frank, I commend you for what you did. I wish I had had the intelligence to try taking a lot less than what I was prescribed when I first started taking suboxone. It never occurred to me until I met someone that only took a quarter a day. Congratulations on taking your life back :) Anyway I found this thread & was hoping someone could help me out, from what Ive read on here some of you are very knowledgeable & helpful. Ok so my doctor has me on 3 suboxone per day. I take 1 & half in the morn & then again in the afternoon. I've been on this dose for 2 years or more.(yes I kno it's time to detox;) I am a very stable patient, never failed a drug test & this medicine has changed mine & my families lives dramatically. I'm a tax payer, a mother & a hard worker. A friend called me today & told me that her suboxone doctor in Bristol told her that he would be cutting her back to 2 a day starting in July b/c of some new law that has passed?!? He told her that a legislator who has no knowledge of the medical field, nor mental health/addiction wrote a bill limiting how many sub the doctors could write & that it passed & takes effect next month. Is this true? How can this be, how can someone who isn't a doctor decide how much suboxone I take? I've done wonderful on 24mg per day & I am scared to death of getting cut back like that & also I am pissed off that this law passed months ago & my doctor never mentioned it to me. I could have been preparing for this by cutting myself back slowly. Is this true? Have ya'lls doctors told you the same thing? I don't see how some legislator is allowed to dictate what my doctor prescribes for me. Did they change how many oxy's the doctors can write their patients?? I highly doubt it. Can someone who is informed please inform me? Thank you guys ahead of time.
