I guess this is the part where your hypocritical argument supporting gays and your ten cent MSNBC stereotypes are supposed to make the clouds part, the angels sing, and make me have that "aha" moment where I suddenly profess my acceptance of a lifestyle that is both biologically and morally wrong, huh? Better not hold your breath.
You see, every time your ilk tries to suppress the beliefs of someone like Phil Robertson, the backlash you receive only serves to dispel the propaganda being shoved down our throats by the liberal media and reinforces the truth about who is actually the majority in this country. Either accept tolerance or go back to your closets where your delicate psyches won't have to suffer the throes of rejection.
Oh, and before I forget, my golfing buddy says mind your own damn business. Taking my money on the golf course, babysitting my daughters, and having served as an usher in my wedding are enough just rewards for him no matter what my beliefs are.

I thought it appropriate since EVERY forum you debate, the person who opposes your view turns into the redneck, ignorant, Fox News watching, conservative hillbilly. I would just prefer you honestly admit that you have exhausted all further ability to debate the facts and move on to another topic.

Anyways, I do truly wish all of you a Merry Christmas and I hope the coming new year bring you joy, happiness, and prosperity.

I have long hair and a beard almost as log as his. For that act Christ had long hair and a beard.
It would m nice "durrr " if you read the following and try
not to be self-righteous or shun or discriminate against those we consider to be "sinners" (Matthew 9:10-13, Luke 7:36-48, 18:9-14).
Further, Jesus told us to eliminate the sins in our own lives rather than passing judgment or looking down on others. For if we judge other people harshly, we will, in turn, be judged harshly:
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.(NIV, Matthew 7:1-2)
With all due respect, you have just enough knowledge of the bible to sound off track. For the record, Jesus most likely didn't have long hair and a beard nor did he have blue eyes, light brown hair and a slim build. That was created by Europeans to give Him appeal. History reveals that in the time, the style was short hair, a trait brought about by style of the Romans which was adopted by the Jews He was of Nazareth, but not a Nazarene . Being of Jewish origin, His eyes were most likely dark, as was His hair, and being a physical worker (sometimes mistakenly called a carpenter) he was most likely of sturdy build. Your take on Matthew only indicates that you didn't read the entirety of the verses. Please read the entire verse! You will find that it doesn't make excuses or cover over sins. The verses tell us not to waste our time by throwing our pearls before the swine, being that they will turn against you and rend you.
Some would say Jesus never had an unkind word or action against sinners. What did he do to the money changers at the temple? Did he politely excuse them or did he not drive them out? Too many people think Jesus was a wimp and use it for an excuse to be sinful and turn a blind eye to what is going on. Jesus called them like He saw them and acted accordingly. There is a big confusion over us being judgmental, when the judgment has already been shown to us. All we do is point it out and catch flack for doing so. I'm not trying to talk down to you or force my will upon you. In other words, I'm no preacher or saint, but people will only accept the truth when they are good and ready for it. No one can change that.

How do you know Jesus had long hair and a beard? There is a brief physical discription of him having bronze skin and wirey hair. What if he shave it all off ten minutes later. Too many people claim to "know" the real stuff. No one alive today was there to hear or say anything.

You don't have to be alive today to get a pretty good idea what he looked like. He was probably olive or dark skinned but since that doesn't play well to western societies they always depict him as a white man (the same way they do Saint Nick). Could you imagine what would happen to Christianity, especially here in the U.S., if you asked them to worship a black man? lol

In the original greek in this passage it should be translated as this, the way paul wrote it; To correctly translate i corinthians 6:9 from greek, here it is:""Do not be deceived; neither fornicators= unmarrried male and female prostitutes (pornoi,) nor idolaters( obsessive devoters to something along side or in place of God=(eidōlolatrai), nor adulterers(cheating with someone else while married to another=(moichoi), nor effiminate promiscuous young men who sexually sell themselves for penetration(malakoi) nor those male prostitutes who give sexual penetration and offer gifts in return for the sex ( whether gay or heterosexual)= arsenokoitai , nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.…" If someone does those things,if they believe in jesus, they will become more sensitive and turn away from those hurtful things if they realize that if they really love jesus and filled by The Holy spirit, then they will obey his two commandments,to love God and one another and thus turn from bad hurtful things. Homosexuality does not hurt someone else when the two have a loving relationship marriage

Isn't it amazing with all of the problems in our society, poverty, crime, homeless, unemployment, hunger, etc., that people are so fixated on sex and homosexuality! They don't seem to be interested in what the rest of the Bible tells us to do.

Christ never mentioned homosexuals. I figure there's a reason for it. I'm a Christian and an American . I believe in equal rights. If I allow someone else's rights to be taken from them, soon they will come for mine.

So, one day gay Marraige will be here, period. It's coming and it can't be stopped. If Ron Ramsey , who is an absolute abomination to goad and so are the Hill brothers and their whole goddamn family continue with their draconian state, then they will bring Gods wrath down upon their families. The CHURCHITTY church folks around here are worthless fakes. That's why the area is like an economic shithole. Phil roe cuts benefits to veterans.

Back to gays. I will defend their equal rights to my death because nobody is going to take away anybody else's rights without it costing them their lives ....that's America ....

Bella, you don't know what you are talking about. Christ did address the sin of homosexuality and don't try to deny or confuse His words. According to the Gospel and the old testament, it was already established as a sin.
Jesus also spoke of the destruction of the Sodomite (openly celebrating homosexuality) cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.(Luke 17:28-32; Matthew 10:15; 11:24; Mark 6:11.) The presenting sin that brought about the destruction of those cultures was homosexuality. Consider these words found in the book of Jude:

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.”(Jude 1:7-8)

Three of the four gospels contain quotes from Jesus about the sinful condition of Sodom and Gomorrah and the destruction that the celebration of the presenting sin of homosexuality wrought upon them. One of those quotes equates the sins of Sodom (homosexuality) to the same type of pervasive perversion of Noah’s day (Luke 17:26-30). So, as it turns out … YES, Jesus did speak rather forthrightly, and often, about the sin of homosexuality and the judgment that it brings upon societies that celebrate it.

Both the old and new testament speak of marriage as being between a man and a woman, period. There is no room for variance.
As for you defending homosexuals to your death, you won't and we all know that. You might believe yourself to be a defender of the dumb, but as for laying down your life for that belief, you are full of it, and are just whistling Dixie.

Do we really have to be peering into everyone's bedroom and getting all bothered with their behavior? Jesus tells us to love and care for our fellow man. Doesn't that excite you as much as talking about sex?

You seem to be way too concerned about what other consenting adults are doing in the privacy of their own bedrooms. You may want to see a therapist or do some soul searching about why you are so infatuated with other people's sex lives.

Unfortunately, what people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms could play a vital role in the future of our society. The comprehensive studies of two renowned scholars into the familial role of fallen civilizations are eerily prophetic:

- Sex and Culture by Oxford anthropologist J.D. Unwin (1934)- Unwin studied 86 civilizations and found that "...cultures that adopt what Unwin dubbed “absolute monogamy” proved to be the most vigorous, economically productive, artistically creative, scientifically innovative, and geographically expansive societies on earth. Absolute monogamy is a very strict moral code. Under absolute monogamy, sex can occur only within one-man/ one-woman marriage. Premarital and extramarital sex are not tolerated and divorce is prohibited."
“He found that a society’s destiny is linked inseparably to the limits it imposes on sexual expression and that those sexual constraints correlate directly to its theological sophistication and religious commitment.”
”Unwin himself was raised in Christian England, but he did not appear to be a believer in orthodox Christianity. Nevertheless, he was honest enough to acknowledge what his research revealed—that absolute monogamy, the key to societal health, is deeply consistent with the sexual regulations laid out in the Bible….”

- Family and Civilization by Harvard professor Dr. Carle Zimmerman (1947)– In his studies of numerous fallen civilizations, Zimmerman was able to identify eight characteristics that were synonymous with each of those civilizations studied:

1) Marriage loses its sacredness; is frequently broken by divorce.
2) Traditional meaning of the marriage ceremony is lost.
3) Feminist movements abound.
4) Increased public disrespect for parents and authority in general. 5) Acceleration of juvenile delinquency, promiscuity, and rebellion.
6) Refusal of people with traditional marriages to accept family responsibilities.
7) Growing desire for and acceptance of adultery.
8) Increasing interest in and spread of sexual perversions (homosexuality) and sex-related crimes.

Who gives a crap about what some dude thought in the 1930's/1940's who was obviously swayed by the sentiments of that era. And the fact he labeled homosexuality a "perversion" makes his entire moot as far as I'm concerned. I could write a book today full of nonsense and some idiot will quote it in 100 years to make his baseless point. And if you read what else this moron said it's almost laughable. He says "Among all heterosexual couples, 75 percent of husbands and 90 percent of wives claim never to have had extramarital sex" which is BS. He also said "Domestic samesex partners have a fidelity rate of zero to 5%". Also BS and how would he even know??? What did he have people do, fill out surveys? LOL

You haven't even come close to a real reply regarding the topic, but fall back on the old lame dodging of the real issue. That's very common with your supporters. See, one big problem is the fact that the pro-homos DON'T confine it to the bedroom. They parade it around seeking attention and try to force their lack of morals on society and try to crucify anyone who doesn't go along with them. Homosexuals are on the attack of social, moral values, and religion, even going so far as to attempt to twist the meaning of the Bible. Either accept what the Bible clearly says, or admit you don't believe in its truth.
The bible is a book written by conservative backwards men thousands of years ago. If you killed people for every sin mentioned in the bible there would probably be 12 people left on the planet. And I really don't need to defend myself to idiotic simpletons who just want to judge (even though they call it something different to make themselves feel better) and spy on other people's private consensual activities. You're so intolerant and ignorant you believe all gay people are riding around in parade floats all day...what a complete dumb shit you must be.

Actually, those quotes were from a survey by Robert T. Michael that was published in 1995. Neither quote is associated with either Unwin or Zimmerman, both heralded professors at their respective colleges, Oxford and Harvard, who spent decades studying the decay of traditional family norms and their effect on societies, among other topics.

That is the good thing about facts, they are hard to dispute. They are so hard to dispute that you were forced to manipulate data for the sake of your argument. It's obvious from your posts that you would rather rely on rhetoric from the gay community than facts from reputed authors, historians, and academics.

Our society has relied on the past as an indicator of the future in almost every aspect of our lives and you're so smart that you think that is ridiculous. I'm sure you would have fit in well in any of those 86 fallen civilizations.
