I don't agree with the Obama Rules but I do agree that no one, except for police, in America should own a gun. Not even a pellet rifle. Too many dumb asses running around with guns.

I think intention behind this idea is right.. But there's a problem. The people we group together as "idiots" or "dangerous" are probably going to find a way to own guns even if the become illegal. Then, the normal people have to way to protect themselves. Police can't be everywhere 24/7 to protect us. There are many situations where the banning of guns could work against us.

You have gone crazy. I have guns that have been in my family for 4 generations, and none of them were ever used to commit a felony or even a misdemeanor. Just suppose some crack head decides to break into your home and snuff you. What are you going to do, break out the slingshot? I reckon you might decide to go bear hunting with a switch. Sure a lot of crazy people have guns. All the more reason to own one for yourself. Don't bring a sharp stick to a gunfight. Banning guns would only result in the baser sorts having them.

I wonder how far that suspect can get with your infant, or how much physical and emotional damage he can do to your wife, or how much property he can pilfer while you're waiting on police response?
