Bill Clinton was the governor of Arkansas.

Wal-Mart is HQ,d in Arkansas.

Bill Clinton pushed really hard to push NAFTA through Congress. He twisted arms, made back door deals, and opened up the "candy store", to buy votes from Congress. He worked late hours to put that one together.

(But he wasnt working that hard to help us regular people)

Nafta opened the door so US large retail chain stores could import cheap Mexican made goods up here, avoid most if not all tariffs and taxes, and sell them in the USA at a huge profit.

Anybody still think NAFTA was all Clintons idea?

Anybody still think NAFTA was anything but a corporate welfare/ political pay-back job?

Tens of millions of American workers lost thier jobs because of it, and continue to do so. Even with the last "Bail out" program for the automakers, Chrysler closed its US truck manufacturing in the USA, and built a super truck plant in Mexico...

...and did it all with the "bail out" money from Obaba!

And thousands more Americans are out of work because of NAFTA, and the Obama bail outs.

NAFTA= Huge corporate profits for retailers of cheaply made Mexican garbage sold at premium prices, while putting millions of Americans out of good paying jobs.

And to make it all even more repulsive, Bill Clinton even once said something to the effect that, those conservative Americans who rejected the inevitability of globalism and Nafta, were extremist, and then he linked that with home grown terrorism.

Pulease!

It was spun as "Good for America", but I think only a true blithering idiot (liberal democrats) would swallow that crap.

Your logic (or lack thereof) is hilarious. Here's one for you:

- George Bush was the president of the US
- George Bush was seen speaking to Putin at the UN
- Putin is from Russia so George Bush must be a communist

You need some work on your analogies. Bush talking to Putin is not the same thing as Clinton sponsoring legislation in Congress. Learn how to properly structure analogies before using them. That will make them more effective.

If you're working at Walmart, then you are capable of working. If you are capable of working, working at Walmart, and still on welfare, then you either spend more than you make or you don't have the skills necessary to support your life style. In that case, you should be working more than one job. Either way, you are displaying irresponsible traits.

If Walmart has a lot of employees on welfare, which I seriously doubt is a true statement, then they are hiring a lot of irresponsible employees.

Thus the statement I made.

A...You dont think big corporations support politicians that run for governor? You really think that is too much of a stretch, do you?

B...Speaking to someone isnt quite the same as being supported in a hugely expensive race for governor, is it?

C...Russia isnt a Communist nation any longer, and hasnt been in more that 20 years. The USSR collapsed in 1991, as socialist nations always do eventually.

Your post is silly and immature. You stretched forth you hand to graps at straws.

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.".

This old proverb just goes to show you that the policies for helping the needy being touted by the Democrats today were just as ineffective thousands of years ago.

Actually, you stated "better" employees, not irresponsible ones. And you obviously don't know much about how people qualify for welfare. It is based on what you make, not how much you spend. And how is it irresponsible for someone with basic skills to actually try and get a job, even an entry level job with Walmart vs sitting on their ass at home drawing a welfare check? I think that makes that person much more responsible to go make what they can to support themselves.

Enrollment in the food stamp program — officially the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — has soared by 75 percent in the years since President Obama first took office, a new report finds.
The government said the recession ended in 2009, The Wall Street Journal reports, but enrollment in the food stamp program didn’t wane, as would be expected in an improving economy. Since 2009, it’s been on a steady rise, The Journal reports.
A record 48.8 million people participate in the program, as of December 2012 — a figure that translates into a 75 percent rise since 2009, The Journal says. Why?
Despite government claims, the job market is still lagging. The poverty rate is on the rise, The Journal says. And federal laws passed under former President Clinton and further under Mr. Obama are actually driving the enrollment rate higher. Those laws allow for those with higher incomes to take food stamps — the logic being that helping people before they reach crisis financial level will actually stimulate the economy, The Journal says.
The news for the future is more of the same.
Economists predict that food stamp enrollment will continue to rise in the coming year.

Um...we were talking about how NAFTA put a lot of Americans out of work, and millions more in part time, minimum wage jobs...and also led to a massive influx of illegal immigrants into the USA, as well as destroying the Mexican farmers, while making the ultra rich CEO fat-cats of super corporations even more filthy rich.

All in one bad law.

We were also talking about how Obamacare is also going to increase even more illegal immigrants in America, as well as send even more American jobs to leave the USA (to escape Obamacare).

What does your little rant have to do with anything that we were talking about?

How about it? Care to tell us that whats left of our industry isnt going to leave the USA and go overseas, to escape the massive Obamacare burden on employers?
