Ted Nugent Fired His Lead Singer In the Height of the success...wanna know why? He will even tell you why...... Because after HEY! BABY the fans started migrating to the singer instead of GLORIOUS TED and he fired him saying I AM THE STAR AND YOU'RE IN MY SPOTLIGHT.....FACT!!!!!
Bill, I met his lead singer in a bar in Alpharetta, GA and got to speak with him during one of his breaks. He was performing there. He told me the whole Stranglehold story as well and his story matches your description perfectly. I really liked that guy, however, I don't fault Ted for having a huge ego. I just wanted to confirm your post. It was 100% factual.

that would be due to the fact we KNOW so much about this fairy tale God.
Heck I know alot about Lord of the Ring too, but I don't believe a dang bit of it either.

What's the big deal now, calling churches hate groups? Is that part of the pro-homo indoctrination? Seems to me, the homosexual crowd has finally gotten what they asked for: recognized. Now that you are recognized you will find that the populous are fed up with your agenda. It's about time good folk spoke up in defiance of your self proclaimed status. Face the facts, you have no real dogma, no real support for your choices. You have made yourselves open for the opposition of your sick beliefs. Hurts, don't it? Keep in mind, thousands of years of civility have proved you wrong. Aw, go ahead, whine all you want and distort the facts. Compare your self chosen plight with slavery, women's suffrage, etc. We are tired of your whining. Now that you homosexuals have pissed enough people off that they are not embarrassed to oppose you, reap what you have sown. I am very proud of the normal people who are fed up with your silliness and have decided to call you on it. Remember the good old days, when a rainbow meant happiness, and gay meant happy and carefree? Well, since the homo crowd has moved in on it, now those things are taken as signs of a tainted homosexual signal. Pitiful, I say. Stand and deliver and take it like a man, not a sissyboy! The time has come for you to face the facts........you will never be accepted and the more you whine and slur natural life, it will come back to bite you in the ass.

I don't believe in fantasy lands and fairytales. and also. it used to be illegal for different races to marry. I bet you hate that it's not. people. Love is love.

I've come to sincere conclusion that the preacher is an imbecile. Unlike most posters it's not based on theology or political views. It's how he ministers. Based on his you tube videos his sermons are thinly camouflaged appeals to the most base of emotions. He consistently dumbs down the verbiage to the lowest common denominator. Perhaps that's the only way to reach his self described misfit congregation and their wallets. I understand Jesus tailored his message to the laymen but he did so with elegance and deep meaning. Young, in my opinion is a fraud and his followers are many of the regions near, if not complete, village idiots.

Lol! you all are idiots!and why is it that athiest can quote the Bible but not believe in it. What a joke!
Ted has always been the lead singer of his music. You must be referring to lead guitarist or someone else who he let go.
Where do you people get that it used to be illegal to marry another race? Really? good grief! Maybe looked down on but illegal??? Wow! idiots all around

Ted was not the lead singer for the song "Stranglehold." Yes, he did do some of his own singing, i.e. Cat Scratch Fever, but Stranglehold was recorded by another singer.

He Wrote The Damn Song You Dumbass.

Why would you want to make excuses for such a proven hateful, violent person? It doesn't sound very Christian to me.
Teddy is most certainly NOT all about "Peace On Earth, Good Will Toward Men."

Do you all really read your "Good Book?"

You dumbass. I never referred to Ted's religous beliefs. I just stated that he didn't write a certain song. Then you go off on some anti-religion tantrum. If you want an argument, you got it. And for the record, he wrote the song but he didn't sing it. That was the point of the whole post. I am sure you don't know Ted personally, but you are very quick to attack him personally. This could mean you have issues of your own that you feel insecure over. If you're that miserable, go get some help.

Don't be so smug DownLo, nobody ever got your point. The only point I saw was you lead a miserable life and feel the need to go attack something. That was my point.

You confuse hate with disgust. And here comes the old defense: comparing race with homosexuality. Just one more of the lame excuses generated by the pro-homo crowd you are in sympathy with. It's really difficult to have a meaningful conversation with an atheist, being that you think you alone have the answers to everything, based on your own self centered sense of right and wrong. Your view of the Bible is based on pick and choose quotes and misquotes, not on the big picture. By the way, I don't hate you. I just think you are delusional and owned by the pro-homo crowd.

Why would a church invite someone like Ted to speak at their church? What did he speak about? Asking to learn. Thanks

Hey, I just saw your post here. Thanks for taking the time to confirm it. In my head carries accurate data. OK sometimes it gets screwed up. But that one I knew to be true. Ted Nugent is a worm, nothing more.

The singer made that album, not Ted and Ted knew it...after that singer left, Ted tried to hold on, then a brief lousy stint with damn Yankees (they didn't like him either)

It's his nature. Ungodly

Well, I have never met Ted so I won't comment one way or the other, but the singer's name was Derek St. Holmes. Ted actually got back together with his old band around 2005 and they did do a tour together. I think they all made their peace, but unfortunately, I don't think the tour was a big hit and they disbanded again.

That must have been a good night meeting Dereck. That's a great song. There's none other like it. It's his song, not Teds. e made the song, not Ted. I didn't know they did a tour.....

I met the dude from the commodores and later at a party in Atlanta, I played a board game with their choffier(sp) nice guy.
