This has been staged by tony to get votes before election. He has been in office 3 yrs 8 months exactly and has never done a round up. Pathetic and he believes we will fall for this. Too little too late Tony.

Well if it was going to amount to anything for our community getting drugs off the streets then great. But this bust was made for election time , to make Tony look good. Don't worry people these people will be back on the road to sale again in few days. They will get a smack on the hand and back home .

Why not round up the whole sherrif department? Drugs dont automatically make you a criminal bullying the entire community and telling them if they can or cant wear a seat belt or if they can or cant put something in their body or if they can or cant drive a vehicle they payed for based on if they have payed for the right to drive IS a crime against humanity.

I don't believe he's overpaid as a sheriff, but you are definitely underpaid as a idiot.

I accidentally posted the following on John Galloway's topix and it should have been posted on this one so I am posting it again. Sorry!!

You hear all kinds of rumors at a time like this and I wonder how many of them have any truth to them at all. For instance, one person said that six officers (including one DEA and one TBI) went to arrest a couple at their apartment for theft UNDER $500.00 but nothing was found at the apartment and of course the couple said they had not stolen anything. The point is why were that many officers needed for two people in an apartment, which usually has only 1 or possibly 2 exits anyway, for a misdemeanor? Heard others that sound almost ridiculous but things look suspicious with election time coming up. One thing that WAS said on Channel 4 news was that one person had been under investigation for 20 years.(Check it out for yourself.) How many sheriffs would that particular investigation have to include IF IT IS THE TRUTH? How many different sheriffs have we had in 20 years? In my opinion it is unlikely that ANYTHING in Jamestown could be kept quiet for 20 years, much less surveillance of someone thought to be dealing in drugs. If ITIS TRUE, then how many people has that particular person sold drugs to and possibly helped with getting them addicted in that period of time only to make an arrest 20 years later? I just hope that the voters in this county have the sense to question whatever is said by whoever says it and don't take for granted that everything is the truth. The truth is hard to discern but IF you watch carefully the actions of the person saying it and add to that what you have seen for yourself you might come up with at least a partial truth but probably never the whole truth. Confusing isn't it? My thoughts, for what they are worth - it's awfully close to election time for these arrests to be made after an 18 MONTH INVESTIGATION with some of the indictments having gone before the Grand Jury months and months ago? Would it not be better for the county if these people were arrested as soon as possible to keep drugs off the streets and keep people from getting their hands on them to become addicted just to be able to make a massive round-up at a much later date? An election date at that?

#1 The investigation took 8 months to complete, first by the locals, that info was turned over to higher up and they investigated, then went to grand jury, As for 20 years, that person has been in and out of court for the past 20 years. As for the apartment couple, what is their past history and/or police record? This raid thurs, 8 went to a house to get 1 out of bed, again, what is the past history and what is the new charges?
