Just saw a link today of how the Obama IRS (enforcers of Obamacare, of all things) has spent $100 million bucks on office furniture. Check it out...

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/05/12/ob...

And also today, the Obama administration is saying that we must have more deficit funding from Congress, or the infrastructure and economy might collapse.
Only, what,$300 Billion more in pork barrel spending? Bribes for political kickbacks and croneyism spending?

Check it out...

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/12/anth...

Maybe if the IRS wasnt wasting money buying so much office furniture,...or illegally Targeting the Tea Party groups... and we werent giving so much foreign aid to warlords, who take the money and buy arms to attack our own people with (Egypts Muslim Brotherhood), or maybe if we didnt have so many government drones flying around doing so much obviously unconstitutional spying and warrentless searches on our own innocent people...maybe there would be enough money to fix the roads and bridges?

Even after the inevitable amount of graft and corruption that seemingly is in just about every government contract these days?

Yes of course they are wasteful money being spent, always have been, but to suggest only the current President and the Democrats do it is just so wrong, . politicians from both sides always cry cut spending, as long as you don't take their They are bought and payed for to spend other people's money. what party they are members don't matter. like it or not, the ACA is the law of the land, 50 times to repeal it hasn't changed a thing, shutting down the Gov. Costing billions didn't. Change nothing. In talking to my Rep. And Dem. friends, they are sick and tired of the propaganda from both sides, and have quit watching FOX and MSMBC, because of it, because neither one tells the whole truth. I'm more afraid of the Koch brothers

he has his views, and he has the right to express them, yea, he may spend his time attacking one side, like FOX news does, and always thinking one side does every thing right and the other side does everything wrong is part of the problem, it seems nobody wants to look at the mess in their own back yard before criticizing the guy across the streets yard

right, but most sensible people understand they're watching an entertainment show for the brainless and don't try to pass it off as actual news...

And most sensible people realize that the liberal media has absolutely ignored controversial issues with Obama that they would have crucified Bush over. Never in my nearly fifty decades of existence have I seen our media outlets allow themselves to be so controlled by the government than I have since Obama took office. The media should be a watchdog over our government, not an extension of it.

Your nearly fifty decades old? Guess that says it all. You must have extreme memory lost, you can't recall the years of Bush.

Is the liberal media anything except Fox News, & talk radio? The right always throws that term around. Are those the right wing media? I know MSNBC is left. It shows either ignorance or denial to not identify the others as right.

Yes, FOX News does cater to the right as do a few select radio programs. The other 99%lean to the left, some very severely. Is there supposed to be a point to your post other than you confirming that the media is controlled by leftists?

Like corporations, the media focuses its attention on which ever party will benefit it the most. Right now, the "flavor of the month" is Obama and the left. If you believe that the media has been fair and truthful in its coverage since (or even before) Obama took office, you also share in the ignorance.

Point to statistics and research that say there is a liberal bias in the media that does not come from a right wing group. I can't seem to find any. Many say that right wing people have a difficult time with statistics, research, and the truth. Daniel Patrick Moynihan said it best; "you are entitled to your own opinions, but you are not entitled to your own facts".

The following conclusion is from The Oxford Journals Quarterly report on Economics titled "A Measure of Media Bias." 2005 edition, volume 120, issue 4. pp. 1191-1237. Authored by Tim Groseclose (UCLA) and Jeff Milyo (University of Missouri).

Few studies provide an objective measure of the slant of news, and none has provided a way to link such a measure to ideological measures of other political actors. That is, none of the existing measures can say, for example, whether the New York Times is more liberal than Tom Daschle or whether Fox News is more conservative than Bill Frist. We provide such a measure. Namely, we compute an ADA score for various news outlets, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, USA Today, the Drudge Report, Fox News’ Special Report, and all three networks’ nightly news shows.

Our results show a strong liberal bias. All of the news outlets except Fox News’ Special Report and the Washington Times received a score to the left of the average member of Congress. And a few outlets, including the New York Times and CBS Evening News, were closer to the average Democrat in Congress than the center.

That took every bit of three minutes to find....

I'm debating with a high school sophomore, aren't I? Surely even you realize the study is time tested and will remain valid as long as the ideologies of the media outlets remain consistent. I mean, that is common sense, right?
