Really it doesn't even deserve a star at all! I would not recommend this company to anyone! This is the worst customer service, supposed service that I have ever seen! There are plenty of other local transimisson places that will do a great job and be 3x's less, and treat you better.. Please check around with other places,my experience was awful!!!!!!!

I also have bad news about these people. took my care to get a hose replace and they quoted me over $100. I went next door to Auto Electric and they replaced the hose for less than $50

taxes and everything included. Had I known I was going to have to take out a personal loan for this repair, I could have had the work done to my car for $800 cheaper than what Mr. Transmission did it for! Hard and Expensive lesson learned- they will never got our business AGAIN!!!

Sorry about the above post... the whole post didnt show up for some reason! Long story short w/ out having to retype all of that- they are horrible to deal with and I was lied to about the 100% in house financing. They only offer you that if you are denied for a loan by their bank (Spring Lease?) which has a locked interest rate of 24%. If denied there, your car must be paid off and you have to pay a % down to get the "100% in-house financing" which is not that at all! Take your business elswhere... learn from my mistake!

My experience with Mr. Transmission was exceptionally good. They took the time to not only explain what was wrong with my vehicle (2006 Ford Explorer)but also showed me. I placed plenty of phone calls before & after I found out what was wrong & yes I recieved cheaper prices from other companies but these places were pricing out my repair without ever checking it out. How can that quote be accurate? For this reason alone is why I took my vehicle to Mr. Transmission. They not only checked out my vehicle for free, but were kind enough to shuttle me back to work & pick me up when the repairs were complete. Sometimes it's not the price but the quality of repair.

I too was granted in-house financing & am damn thankful they provided it to me or else I would not have had a vehicle to go to my job & would have most likely lost my job if I had not had my car. Let me ask you this, were you charged a finance charge with your in-house financing? NO! Were you charged a service fee for the privledge of in-house financing? NO! These people are not obligated to provide this service & ungrateful people like you should never be granted the privledge. What other companies do you know that would allow you to make payments while you retain the product & not charge you a fee or interest? Did it ever occur to you that they are fronting you the money to repair your vehicle while they still have their bills to pay for repairing your car? NO! How about you tell your mortgage lender you are only going to make minimal payments or how about the power board or water dept. or maybe your credit card companies. You are a highly ungrateful & disrespectful person.

"Informed Consumer", you are either the owner of Mr. Transmission or you work there. Why would you defend the place with so much passion if not? Geez, what an ignorant fool you are to think for one second that people cannot read between your lines. If you are going to defend your company why be a coward? Why not just state who you are & earn respect that way? Calling people ungrateful as you are only an innocent consumer yourself, how pitiful. I too have heard bad stories about this place & their sh*&ty Customer Service & dirty business tactics. I have heard these stories from family members & friends, so I find them reliable. However, since I have no direct experience, I will refrain from posting the stories. P#ss off Informed Consumer (Mr. Transmission owner or manager), & focus on bettering your business practices.

Its all a racket ... friends lost a car over "storage fees" when they couldn't pay for the higher than estimated bill. The storage fees were more than the bill and the company offered to take the title as payment in full. They then turned around and sold the car for a profit!!!! WHAT A SCAM!!! Too bad nobody will expose them for the crooks they are! FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR YOUR REPAIRS!

I love Mr. Transmission!! I have always been treated very well and have always been more than happy with their work. They go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. I have recommended them to friends and they have always been great to them too. Never a complaint. The previous posters must be confused. As far as I'm concerned they are the best in the business!!

I couldn't be happier with Mr. Transmission. I thought for sure I had major problems with my car but to my surprise it was a simple fix, a hose had come off. Im sure I could have been taken for a serouis ride but they were honest & I sincerely thank them for that.

I took my car to Mr.Transmission because the transmission was making a noise. They kept my car for a week, after promising me that the longest they would have it to check it/get an estimate was 3-4 days max. I told them that I could drop it off when they had time to check it, but they said that I had to leave it if I wanted them to do an estimate on the transmission work. After a week, I asked how long it would be before they could get to the car, and they said they didn't know because they were really busy. I then told them that I would be coming by to pick up my car because I couldn't go without it any longer. I was not rude, and even told them that I understood that they were busy. When I arrived to pick up my car, they claimed I owed them $100 because they had put transmission fluid in it.$100 for transmission fluid??? They obviously got upset because they were losing business, so they decided to rip me off.I paid the $100 because I had no other choice, but I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.
