This seems to be a heated debate these days. After viewing other debates on the topic elsewhere, I find the discussion fascinating. Some feel its a parent's right to decide, others feel its a violation of the child's human rights. I hope everyone can remain civil and refrain from name calling and etc, so..... Where do you stand?

I am not circumcised and I thank my parents for leaving that decision up to me! I say do not cut a child's private parts! Let them decide later!

I am not circumcised which for my generation (late 40's) seems to be few and far between who aren't in the USA but the rate of those cut has been going down........Most men worlwide are not cut.

i'm fine with it, but sometimes I think a circumcised cock looks better........

re: men are nasty.

men are not nasty, unless the don't bath. they only stink if they aren't clean. maybe you should choose men who bath and take care of themselves.

if you really want to discuss "stink" and bacteria, we might want to mention the yeast infested, dead tuna factory your gender owns.

I was once married to a man who was wasn't cut! I ended up with pre-cancer cells on my cervix due to HPV twice. Not a fun thing to go through (pain from procedures done)! My ex was a very clean person. Get the vaccination (both men and women)?

So, do you all believe its a parents right to decide at child birth or the male's right to decide when he's old enough to do so?

I believe its perfectly within a parent's right to choose. The child isn't going to remember it anyway.

Now, from a female perspective, uncut is just kind of gross. Aside from not being aestheticly pleasing, even with regular showering, most guys don't take the time to roll it back and clean it properly. So, yes, you end up with penis cheese. Yuck!! I guess its a matter of personal preference, but most of my girlfriends feel the same way. Much prefer a circumcised man.

And while we're here. Most women appreciate some mild grooming of your nether region. However, once you've put a razor to it....we think you're just gay. Trim.... don't shave.

I did research on this topic and cut males are 60% less likely to spread STD's to females. In Africa circumcision is being used to help stop the spread of the HIV virus. Circumcised males are less likely to get urinary tract infections and penile cancer also. The opposing views that say its a violation of human rights claim that over 20,000 nerve endings are destroyed and the penis is desensitized making sex less pleasureable. I agree completely with your post, I support the parental rights view point.

I am really pissed that my mum and dads had millions of sensitive nerve endings whacked off my peepee without my permission. As much as I enjoy the nerve endings I DO have left, I can't imagine being involuntarily deprived of all the ones I was born with. It's like those god-given goody-spots were aborted from my penis. My weewee has a right to LIFE!

I have to partially agree there. Anything that bleeds that much and doesn't die is just crazy!!!

Most men do not totally hygiene them selfs from nails , to man scraping plus a big penis isn't usually the prettiest thing. I can vouch a few of us have all the right stuff. Girls are bleeders and nasty panties to toilets.

For my opinion I think parents should circumcise their baby after birth because. With all the cleanings that needs to be taught and keeping that specific area that should be cleaned. Most young boys won't do so. So it is better for them to have it done after birth then for them to a life long issue growing up. So it's better to be safe then sorry. I had both my boys circumcised and my sons father is not. He always has a smell from his and it's a huge huge huge turn off. When he uses the bathroom his penis smells like urine and I don't know really if he cleans it well enough either. There's dried urine in it plus sweat and lint that gets in it and the lint and hairs drives him crazy at times. I've told him that he needs to clean it better but he doesn't listen to me. He says I shouldn't talk about things that I know nothing about. Well I may not know nothing about having a penis but I do have say in it when it goes into my body. So yes he should keep it clean and not get all the nasty infections and std things. So yes I think all baby boys should be clipped after birth.
