Don't blame Obamacare, MSHA has been on a headhunt since long before Obamacare's conception. Seems the "leaders" went overboard and raped and bastardized the company before they got caught. A not for profit company is just a smoke screen for hogs in the trough. Now it is damage control and more of the same old screw the workers. Just imagine, a hospital which has the most lame insurance available. Back in the good old days, MSHA would have been considered a monopoly since they own all the health care available in one form or the other. And just for the record, you are about as independently wealthy as I am the Sheik of Arabi! Bullshitter.

Here's an idea. If you don't like their policies, don't work there. Nobody is forcing you to accept a job there. Quit whining, geez!
And here's another idea... if you don't have an interest in a discussion, stay out of it. I don't work for MSHA, but I do have an interest in how they treat their employees, for reasons I'll keep to myself.

It does not matter what company you work for anymore. The one percent can't seem to get enough. Where are all these people going to work if they have another round of layoffs?

Hmm, hardly the case. Many companies are choosing to drop insurance for part-time employees to save money and conveniently blame it on the ACA and know idiots like you will believe it. It's just more of a money grab for greedy billion dollar companies.

For some, yes. For most, it is a matter of survival. Have you not noticed our economy lately?

Yessir, I have noticed the economy lately and it is in favor of business, not the citizens. Money is being made hand over fist by the big companies and their sit on your ass stockholders while the workers are being scathed by it. Small time business has been replaced by corporate greed, and remaining small businesses are trying to play the same game. Temp work agencies, tax breaks, LLC's and all that only makes it clear that "we the people" have been raped and used as a resource to be used up and replaced cheaply. It reminds me of Hitler's final solution. Every business should turn a profit, but not in such an obvious pimp- hellish way.

Check out this article and watch the 60 Minutes piece....it will tell you everything you need to know about MSHA's new CEO. And yeah, they will blame ALL the cutbacks on Obamacare, but check out the corporate salaries and see what the fatcats are taking home at the end of the year....

Over 400 people either lost their jobs or were forced to move into a lower paying position the end of last and into the first of this year.
Take a look at what the C-level's earned just in 2012, the 2013 numbers are hard to come by, but I doubt any of them took a pay cut... even if they were given the 1% raise the employees were given, they still made out like bandits.

According to public tax documents submitted by the nonprofit for the 2011-12 fiscal year, MSHAs 19 highest paid executives earned a combined $8.1 million in that year in reportable and estimated compensation from the organization.

Then-CEO Dennis Vonderfecht earned $1.2 million that year, an increase of $369,000 over the previous year.
