I just got the Johnson City way. Called about an advertised vehicle
on autotrader.com and their web site. Found out vehicle is $3000.00
more than price advertised. Transmisson repairs I was told. Should the proper price be posted instead of false advertisement. They were made aware of mistake but price still stands at lower price on their web site and autotrader.com . All of a sudden they do not look so good. Great deal on internet, just do not bank on it.

Anyone who would buy from the idiot that says, johnson city honda, johnson city, deserves what they get. Also the Ramey ads suck "gooble" and the skinny chick at carl gregory needs diction lessons and don't even get me started on the drug dealer posing as a car dealer

I do not ever plan to buy from JC Honda. Hope their service dept is better than sales.

They did take Element off of autotrader.com and revised price on their website. Honda are great vehicles but I will likely trade with Gattons or somebody else more straightforward. If transmisson is already torn out of vehicle can you imagine what
good shape rest of drivetrain is in.

It sounds to me like they were trying to unload a vehicle with a bad transmission, but it evidently broke down so bad it wouldn't make it off the lot. How would you like to have been stuck with that? JC Honda has, and is building a very bad reputation for shady dealings. I know of some folk who have had bad experiences with them, including failure to repair vehicles under recall. A friend of mine worked there very briefly and just couldn't bring himself to chisel people with the "Johnson City Way". Bill Gatton seems to be the best dealer.

Do not EVER buy a car from them! I bought a used car, which they stated had gone through their 150 point inspection with flying colors, only had 50,000 miles on it- 6months later my intake manifold went out- took it to them to fix, they didn't put the seal on properly causing antifreeze to spatter back into the engine- I took it back to them 5 times because of the car smoking and whatnot and they said it was normal, just the oil burning off the engine and would be fine.... then my engine blew! They told me it was not their fault since I didn't bring it back to them with "due diligence"! Thank God I was smart enough to get the extended warranty, but Honda was at fault and chose not to take responsibility. I have gotten a lawyer and statements from several other reputable service centers stating that their negligence is what caused my engine to blow- but I guarantee they will talk their way out of it! Worst mistake ever. I've pretty much had to replace the engine along with all of its components, I would NEVER go back there and NEVER allow anyone else I know to go either!!

Agreed. Even though I did not trade with them ,just
the runnaround I was given convinced me. Their deals and prices are not anything special either.
Honda ought to be ashamed to have them as a dealer.
Never owned a Honda ,with dealers like JC Honda very unlikely. My old Toyota still runs good, stick with what works.

I feel I was treated well by Phil Bachman Honda in Kingsport when I bought my then new 1999 Honda CRV. Can't tell you anything about their service dept, as I've had zero issues. Jiffy Lube changes my oil and I drive the wheels off it! Yeah Toyotas are great cars too. When I get a new car I'll check Kingsport first.
