I know of people they've helped, they do good work. As for turning everything into a Republican vs Democrats situation, that's really getting ridiculous.

Oh they had another fundraiser? Good gracious, it's Christmas time and Sarah Wells will be begging again for the next month. She will be on all the news channels and in the paper. She really likes to help people at this time a year. especially her family. So please, everyone give to Good Samaritan so all her grandchildren and daughter have a Merry Christmas . I would hate for them to be without all the new electronics , new clothes , and this years must haves. Also, I would hate for her Church Members not to get their Christmas spread all bought on Good Samaritans dime. So all you Baptists, Lutherans, and such , give give give till it hurts so all those naughty Methodists at Taylor Memorial UMC have a Merry Christmas feast and gift cards for the whole congregation all purchased by your donations . Don't disappoint them . Just go to Walmart and SAMs and you will see that do gooder Sarah Wells out buying those gift cards and gifts abound with your money while those who are really in need get a cheap stuffed animal and a mixed matched outfit of summer clothing for the Holidays. Those elderly who need electric assistance will get their power disconnected, those who are sick or out of work will get their eviction notices and those who can't stretch their dollar any further will get their water turned off and Sarah will be at home eating the 6 Spiral hams she stole from Good Samaritan and her Grandkids will be watching 70 inch plasma tv's that your donations bought for them.
LOL, it isn't "Taylor Memorial UMC" anymore. He has been gone since Jan. 2. Got suspended and won't be back. Bye-bye!

I heard Satan Wells runs the place. She picks and chooses who she wants to help. Mostly family from what I hear. You can't even get through to get an appt. the guy at the front desk is some kind of kiddy porn convict. I heard they love to help child molesters and such. They r sending most of their donations overseas. They get paid for that. I used to volunteer there and it is one shady place. I left and went to volunteer at salvation army. At least they don't steal there.
From what I seen most of this true, the will help you with a smile as they are sharpening the knife for your back. Not to mention the donations that are given to the store that never make it there, they usually end up as someone's personal gain.

They let employees buy what ever they want and it's cheaper than what anybody else pays. Nothing good makes it to the store floor. I heard the lady over Good Samaritan and her daughter both have a house and garage full of stuff. Any good furniture can't be sold until Sarah looks at it. She also uses employees to work on personal chores. Look at the pile of furniture that can't be sold. All the good stuff goes out the back door!!!

Say what you will, but many of these outfits do the same, letting employees get the best picks. I guess it's just human nature, folk giving to the undeserving. Sure, it happens, but I must say Good Samaritan in the long run lets the needy get what they need.
Maybe not all the time, but at least they don't put up a front, like Goodwill supposedly providing jobs and such. You won't find people doing community service because of their violations doing time there! Any and all my stuff goes to Good Samaritan. Unlike The Haven of Mercy store, they don't have unwritten contracts with the 2 places down the road! You know them.

I too tried to get food assistance there. It took me two weeks and then they gave me mostly refried beans and tortillas. I am not Mexican but I saw the Mexican women driving up in their gigantic trucks getting free thanksgiving boxes. WTF.

Seems to me, if you need some food you shouldn't be picky. I guess you have internet access and that means something you pay for. Wouldn't it be more feasible to drop that and concentrate on the staples? It's one thing to need help and another to be a freeloader. The free for all doesn't apply to you, so quit milking it. Nobody owes you a damned thing, you house proud town mouse.
