The officials aren't going to go after one of their own of course - lol - they can get by with murder. I know for a fact. For example, there was a man in Greene County that lived next door that had been working on his car - it would barely run - it was a piece of junk. However, after the police shot the man they said that he was traveling at high speeds. This car would not go over 40 if he tried. They claimed the man had a gun, but what he had was a wrench to open the door because he had no door handle. Of course the officers were not charged. The city paid the wife thousands and kept that story very quiet. Happens a lot actually.
Horribly tragic. I was just thinking earlier today of the oh so many examples of police brutality everywhere, literally worldwide. Constantly. I'm so weary of it all, aren't you?

So you can state what you believe and no one else can? You also make a lot of wrong assumptions, just for the record.....buddy.
( Maybe ) you might have a point? Could I have been "profiling" you when I said "drugs and alcohol?" I guess I was going by your posts, your profile picture,of your tattoes ,sitting on top of a motorcycle and I just naturally assumed you were a highly respected local C.E.O. of a Tri-Cities company( for example ) or the average law abiding citizen, who by statistics are naturally habitual lawbreakers. Im so glad i didnt think you were one of those rednecks that have been caught by law enforcement for breaking the law, and since that stay mad at them for it, and now think that law enforcement stand in their way of doing things they could get arrested for and have to watch their backs so they don,t get caught again? Aren't you glad I didn't think you were one of those kind of people! Your posts sure dont seem you're one of one of them.

Little judgmental are we? Personally, I don't give a rat's ass what you think of me, but let's see how your "profiling" did.
I'm a Captain in the Merchant Marines, moving oil all over our great oceans. Been married 25 years, 2 kids in college & proud as hell of them. I own 2 homes, 3 cars & 3 motorcycles. Are you one of the "good" citizens that lock their doors when I pull up next to them at a red light?
I'm the proud holder of a CCW Concealed Carry Handgun permit and exercise that right every time I leave the house. No need to call 911.....ever.
I'm heavily tattooed and ride the hell outta my Harley's. If you don't like them, look the other way. You won't hurt my feelings, believe me.
Hopefully next time you'll think twice about judging someone because of their looks and if they're sitting on a bike. I don't know you at all and I think that's a good thing. I have no use for holier than thou bitches.

You go Captain, thats whats wrong with a lot of these assholes today, they just assume because of the way you look or the way you dress and God forbid you have a tattoo and i know a doctor covered in them but thats his personal business most people get tats to mark and tell the stoy of their life' journey. As for cops you have the good and the bad like in every profession, but too many of them let the authority go to their heads and become billy badass. I know 2 from Sullivan co. that dragged my daughter out her and both males beat her like a fucking man and she is the one who called them and was talking on her phone now ain't that a bitch one is no longer there and the other is being dealt with and all this done without calling 911...so basically yeah fuck da police

There are good and bad in every line of work. Just like you don't like to be stereotyped as something you're not you shouldn't assume all cops are bad. Having been in that line of work for a while it's a small percentage of them that make the others look bad. Porbably just like it is a small percentage of bikers who make the rest look bad.

I think the public's perception of bikers has been fueled by the increase of outlaw biker "wannabes" who go out and buy a Harley, some leather gear, and then down to the tattoo parlor to get themselves a few tattoos. These are the same "weekend warriors" who would most likely piss in their pants if a real outlaw biker pulled up next to them. My thought is, if a man has to try to make himself look like a badass, he probably ain't a badass.

I come from a family of Law enforcement officers and have always held the profession in high esteem. Unfortunately when it comes to the Johnson City Police Department that ideal is greatly lacking. When describing the "unspoken" operating protocol of this sad police department I would compare it to a mafia organization. They use fear and intimidation to serve their interests rather than truth and honesty in serving the public. There have been multiple incidents involving two or more Johnson City Police Officers harrassing innocent citizens without provocation. When complaints are filed nothing is done. It is a sad day for the people of Johnson City when they are better off having any traffic problem happen in a different city, county, or state! Shame on you Johnson City for allowing this police department to have such a negative impact on your beautiful East Tennessee town.

If you hadn't been breaking the law then you wouldn't be so upset for going to jail when he arrested you.

Is he the really fat one thats wife works down at the tag office in Jonesborough? If so, then yes, he pulled me over on 3 separate occasions, not for doing anything wrong, but simply to try and get my phone number. I felt very scared after I told my father about it because I didnt think at the time but he looked at my license and got my home address and everything. I swear I have seen this guy driving around my apartment complex in a big white Ford truck on multiple occasions. He is very creepy. All other young ladies, beware!

So funny that everyone hates the police...... Until they are a victim. Then they expect the police to go to the ends of the earth to solve their case. If the police are worthless, then next time you are a victim don't bother calling 911.

I wish some of you that seem to have "internal" problem(s) w/the Johnson City Police Department would have to put on their uniform and do the job that they do for a while and then see if you might have a little attitude adjustment than the one you had before about them. You should Thank God they are willing to put their life on the line, even for you that dislike them, and for all that do as a Police Officer. They're not called Johnson City's Finest for nothing. Stay safe tonight, and i hope you don't find yourself in a dangerous circumstance and have to call 911 for help, and an Officer come to your aid. Hopefully your night will be uneventful......PEACE

He wasn't. The story from news accounts. Two young men allegedly burglarized the home of the former police chief and allegedly stole a computer. They were arrested months later for the crime. It has also been alleged that while the young men were in possession of the computer they downloaded unlawful content.
