I'm sure PWL was one of the crazy liberals all ready to pack up and head to Canada when Bush was reelected for a second term. As I said before, both sides have their fair share of wackos; fortuntely, while their voice is loud, they are few in number.
I would bet you that he was being facetious and/or mocking a republican. Liberals are real men and women we do not need to hide behind anything because we are not the paranoid nuts!

My beef is not with the Feds. I have armed myself against the tyranny of the state of Tennessee. If civil war began I would be fighting for the federal government against the state of Tennessee . That's where the tyranny is . I can't think of a more fair politician ever than Obama. I'd sure like to run into Nugent or bill oreilly on the battlefield . Of course, I'd much prefer peace, but not gonna happen. Nobody's gonna book by trap their land but in war? Come on. Everyone will do anything and ou know it.
I agree with you 100%. I love the place where I live but I am a citizen of the USA first. If any crazy azz yahoos start shooting at the feds...I'll side with the feds. Session is treason, so anyone that sided with the treasonist should be jailed. Tennessee will always be part of the good ole USA despite what the GOP thinks.

"This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it."
- Abraham Lincoln

"[W]hat country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that [the] people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms...The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson

"Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth." - George Washington

"There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations." - James Madison

What a shame that many in our country don't have the hindsight equivalent to that of our founding fathers' foresight. I guess they were just "paranoid nuts" as well.

It's actually 90 miles away. But if you tell them 70, they will run out of gas some 29 miles from shore. I get it.

This is America. I stand with the federal government. If I find that this frak show of a senate has taken up arms against Washington, I will take up arms against them. You have a RonnRamsey and other thugs running this wasteland of bigotry and trying to return this place to Mississippi 1965. I won't stand for it, and America won't stand for it.

And when they start sabotaging the Affordable Healthcare Act, then it's on. I was opposed to it too.... Tuff.....now it's here....deal with it or people will die......... The thug that runs United health group......???? Makes $101 million per year.....he employs 75,000 people. You should see their insurance plan....$490 per month with a $2500 deductible ...... Oh, that's just me envying the wealthy, right? Look, I don't envy that dirtbag one ounce or the Walton family either .... And Fox News wants us to think that the poor people are the problem.......now how GD STUPID do we have to be to believe that????

It's a recession that BUSH MADE right before leaving office .... Wake up !!!

Dissent is the highest form of patriotism

Thomas Jefferson

Don't confuse loyalist and nationalism for patriotism. Dissent is a good thing, it helps to keep people honest. I don't understand why those who question the government get labeled as paranoid. Without dissent the government would run wild and nobody would even notice, whoops too late..

Seems like we too often confuse patriotism as blindly following the government, I can honestly trace this mentality back to the Bush administration around the time the poor ole Dixie Chicks got shafted for showing a little bit of dissent.

I don't always agree with the people on here and quite frankly I hate the partisan crap of right vs left because both parties are shit..

Don't you find it amusing that you refer to us as "paranoid" and "yahoos" simply because we choose to question a group of individuals who make up one of the most corrupt professions in this great country of ours? A group of individuals who cater to self-serving interests everyday while pretending to do so to "help" people like you and me. A group of people who vote themselves in pay raises and increased benefits while people like you and me pay higher fuel costs, higher grocery costs, higher health costs, higher education costs, etc, etc, etc. A group of people who vote in an extreme health care plan under the guise of helping this country's citizens, yet they decide to exclude themselves from that coverage.

I could go on, but I think even you care able to see my point. So excuse myself and people like me if we fail to just accept at face-value our country's leaders who continue to prosper while their constituents continue to suffer. Unlike you and those who think like you, I think politicians should serve me instead of the other way around. But, if you continue the think otherwise, well, I guess that just makes you STUPID and GULLIBLE.

I'm not so stupid to not be aware of the things you say. Check out these crooks on the state level. Now they have a SUPER STUPID majority. Watch their legislation and then look to see who their contributors are.

All of a sudden they want wine on grocery stores shelves. Guess what? Tennessee wine and spirit distributors is Ramsey's fifth largest contributor. The simply purchase legislation and dumbass Tennesseans applaud them. I'm not opposed to guns. What I'm opposed to is Ron Ramsey representing THEM instead of us. The list goes on forever..........

And Ramsey will be the next governor not thru votes........but thru the NRA....period.....and people allow it......the founding fathers warned us EXACTLY of RonnRamseys.....they almost named him by name.....

When I moved away from East TN I was shocked by how you can buy liquor at grocery stores, walmarts, and gas stations most everywhere else in the country. Hell, they even sell liquor and beer at Dollar General here..

I think it is obvious you have great disdain for Ramsey, but please don't think he is the only one. Politicians on both sides of the aisle and at every levery are serving themselves five course "meals" everyday and laughing while you and I pay the bill...and leave a tip.

The politicians chomp at the bit when they see these kinds of left versus right debacles. While everybody is fighting amongst themselves, they do as they please during the smoke screen. What bothers me is the people that blindly follow a party and defend it no matter how absurd their policies become. They'll twist and turn everything to try and justify their actions, blaming the other party along the way. Both party's are one in the same, the politicians that represent them all share the same agenda, to do what benefits THEM the most in their political careers. There needs to be term limits at every level. Have you ever noticed the whole time these people bash one party, they never seem to be able to point out any good things their party has done? There's always excuses, usually blaming the other party as to why their party can't get anything done.
