<quoted text>Wow, Einstein, I'm very impressed with your insight. Sounds like you did some Googling. That may impress you and no one else. I call them like I see them and don't rely on second hand information. You can't tell me these "mediators" are any more or less easy riders on the system. FYI, Tn has no requirements for mediators, but the "club" requires a few credentials. Let me rephrase "jr. law student".......aka: shit house lawyer, some half assed legal assistant, most likely, who can't cut the BAR. Now you have to realize, the court determines the extent of the mediator's input. Some must be pro bono to an extent and accept lower rates than they usually get. Part of the handshake. Doesn't that make them judicial lackeys? I just see them as freeloaders. Er, who brought up Supreme Court mediators? We are talking local yokels here. Why would a successful lawyer have to resort to being a mediator? They have no authority, no grasp of legality and are just no more than paid weed eaters who catch a buck and keep the judge on the golf course.
You really are clueless aren't you?! Go get some fancy learnin' about what your saying and then get back to me. Until then, you're just another ignorant person polluting the air.

Settle down, junior. No need to get nasty because I disagree with you. Should we call the "mediator"? LOL

You're simply another, run-of-the-mill, anonymous troll, spewing forth meaningless canon-fodder on multiple strings. Nothing more.

Much like your real life, no one takes you seriously. Which is why you're hear... anxiously awaiting responses so you can hide behind your keyboard, and bask in you're own juvenile behavior.

Your posts are nothing more than regurgitated ad-libs, of the same, inane, repetitive tripe...

"I hate _____ and _____ are stupid..."

You simply find new forum strings, and fill-in-blanks with new nouns.

Why don't you simply cut to the chase, and type something based in actual fact... How about something like ....

"HEY! Look at me! I'm dramatically over compensating for my own devastating lack of self-esteem by anonymously posting hate-base hokum on a free website. Please pay attention to my posts and validate me."

What always amazes me about your "type," is that every single one of you think you're "unique."

You actually believe you're the first one to ever behave this way.

Boring.

By the way, I've enjoyed digitally spanking you.

Next.

Now... this is the point where you sit there, with a sick feeling in your stomach, brewing in your mind a real "scorcher" of a comeback. Just stop. You lost. You won't heed my advice of course. But here's what's gonna completely ruin your already crappy day... I know you're going to retort. The most enjoyable idiots, are those the narcissistic morons who don't realize they've already lost. See you soon.

Just like some of the others, you're resorting to insults and name calling just because I won't agree with you. Does your response have to be the "new" old chestnut: "hater, stupid, troll, etc"? Those are just the latest buzz words for defense/offense. No reason to get excited and insulting.

There are plenty of good family law mediators. But the good ones charge a lawyerly hourly rate.
I suspect that Mr Hudson or his supporters have had a hand in promoting this thread..........

Well, Boring, JW, Pump, or whatever nom de plume you are hiding behind, I won't get into a pissing contest with you and your alter egos. It must be exhausting to keep up with them all. Somewhere along the line you all need a mediator between the mind that plots and the hand that types. I didn't know it was a competition of insults, so I have behaved, not playing your game. Now, back to the subject. Is the mediator useful or not? I personally don't think so, but that's just my opinion, sans insults. I could accept the fact that we disagree if you would only refrain from insults. I still question the credentials and the proportionality of the "mediator". Why would a bona fide lawyer have to resort to being a baby sitter if they are certified as a real doctor of jurisprudence? I think maybe they are just second class "almost" lawyers, maybe funded in part by the judicial system and the money available to them. More or less, workers with no higher education than a social worker getting a paid gig by weeding out unimportant court cases so the judge can play golf and thin out the cases they can't avoid. Maybe I'm wrong, and I don't think so, but if I am, I'll admit it. But if I'm right, well........you can still bitch at me.

Very well said, Observer.......... well except for the good family law mediators being good at it. Shucks, you or me could do that job, now couldn't we? Common sense and the illusion of being in charge helps. I see it as a paid loophole for some "professionals" milking the system for all it's worth. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so! I agree, mayhap the illustrious Mr. Hudson and company may have their hands in it. No matter how you see it, we have the common thread of distrust about it.

"I hate _____ and _____ are stupid..." ...repeated the anonymous nobody, ever hiding behind their keyboard, gallantly giving random Internet strangers what-fore.

Keep up the good e-fight, brave little anonymous i-Soldier.

Now get showered and get to work. Those Taco Bell Chalupas aren't going to make themselves.

Do you have an opinion on the topic of mediation, or just want to bitch? If you have an opinion, please let's hear it. If not, do us all a favor and hush up. The grown ups are trying to talk here.

I hired a lawyer to settle my divorce case. Fourteen months and $7300 later, the lawyer was still scratching his head and billing me for it. On top of his whore-house high rates, the turd was billing me for every text, email, fax, copies and phone calls his office fielded.

GC Hudson was able to get the X and I to come to an agreement in 3 hours of intense mediation.

What can we learn from this? Divorce lawyers suck sweating, hairy, smelly balls. GC Hudson rocks.

case closed.
