Who else thinks that the local listings for Craigslist suck?

I like to flip through the listing from time to time and each time I do I'm amazed at how much stupidity I see. While I've never posted an ad myself, just watching other people flagging off each others posts for what appears to be no good reason other than just being an ass is just pitiful. People around here need to grow the f*ck up and leave each other alone.
I can't help but think those responsible for it are nothing less than some type self appointed, self righteous nazi like bible thumping idiots hiding behind a computer pestering people because they suffer from some sort of mental illness. It's also my opinion that these same people would never mouth off or try to silence someone in real life because they are really nothing more then a coward.

If you're one of those flaggers from Craigslist and this post offends you then I guess it's just too damn bad cause you can't flag it or do anything about it other than watch that little vein next to you eye do a cha-cha while you white knuckle your keyboard. Have a nice day douche bags

Everything I put on the list has sold no problems even gave away a litter of kittens and they were gone in just a few days. I was even able to screen the homes they went to.
Seems to me if you keep getting flagged you may not be truthful in your ads, or are you one of the "I NEED HELP" people. If you are the latter go to a church. You will find help there.

Obviously you didn't comprehend what I wrote as it was intended.
I said very clearly I NEVER POSTED ANYTHING. I was commenting on what I see going on in a variety of categories, not just the pet section I assume you're talking about.
As for going to church, a snowball has a better chance in hell then you every seeing me in some organized religion gathering place. What the hell is it with you religious fanatics anyway, you think church is the answer to everything. I make a post about something I saw on another site and you start tossing that god crap around at me.
Next time your car breaks down have it towed to church and see if god fixes it for you. Any way to each their own.

RMH, your anger is a sign that you are not pleased with your life and are a very unhappy person. Find something positive to do and stop whining on a craigslist chat room.

A craigslist chat room?
First of all craigslist does not have "chat rooms" secondly this website (Topix) has nothing to do with craigslist.
My life is just fine, I think its yours that needs some work since you're incapable of living it without the assistance of some invisible boogie man or rehashing a post 7 months old post just to hear your own yapper flap.
You must be another retard like sawman. You obviously pick and choose what you see when reading something, I'd imagine the same way your type picks and chooses what they take away from a bible.
All you religious morons need to be rounded up and exterminated.

As for Craigslist, I have had positive experiences with it. Of course I am not on there as a lonely heart or trying to hook up. I use it for buying and selling and no more or less. Sure, there are a bunch of scams on there, but common sense should make you aware of what is true or bogus. Job postings are not to be taken seriously. If only it were treated as a website for classified ads and not a social network, I think it would be much better.

Craigslist sure does have chat rooms. Well, individual forums you can write about a multitude of subject (legel, frugal, automotive (sounds like that is needed!),..etc

Oh, and they have one for called etiquette. You can chat about how terrible JC Craigslist posts are! Of course, those posts are international instead of local.

And byt, I think we have a decent amount of items for sale. The free section leaves a little to be desired, but look at the economy, and it is not wonder.

Peace to you and I hope this gives you a place to share your thoughts.... here or Craigslist forums.

It seems half the time I post anything on Craigslist it turns weird. Several years ago I had a computer to sell. The first caller mentioned he "was married." Had nothing to do with the computer for sell but I didn't catch the drift. A few days later he came by to look at the computer. When he got their he again mentioned that he was "married" He looked like a scrawny little druggy at first impression and my major concern was he was casing the place but I now think that the JC weirdo crowd has been run off from the public parks so Craigslist has turned into their Winged Deer.

I did sell the computer to an old man for Roan Mountain so it' 50/50. on craiglist a far as I'm concerned.

If you need a good laugh here is a guy that posted recently.

I have both bought and sold items on Tri Cities Craigslist with no problems. As for the other stuff on there (dating, lonely hearting, etc.) I wouldn't know. Use common sense when on the site. As for flagging posts, yep, I have done that due to bullshitters or dealers trying to sell cars as a private party to avoid the cheap 5 buck charge for it. Something else that bothers me about the Tri Cities Craigslist is that posters from Georgia or some other far away place try to horn in on the action. Yep, I flag them too!
