There is such a thing as unconscionable contracts and Heights 1301 are pro's at them.
Immoral companies that feed on unstable young people.
If you are tricked into a contract by a company that knows you don't have a job yet and you don't have any money, but they print up what was said to be an anticipated move-in date lease, then turn around and bill you for $2,000 for 5 months of residence and yet haven't even given you the keys. I told them 2 weeks in advance that I still don't have any income. Also, they have advised that until I can provide 3 months of income proof (obviously I don't have since I have been laid-off for the last 3 months) and I don't have a co-signer (Guarantor) I am not allowed to move in. But they want to charge me for these months when I'm not allowed to become a residence. I've never even seen the apartment.
