At school board meeting board votes to spend 125000 dollars on additional bleachers at the 2 new overpriced schools. Board members Ervin and Ganger opposed. Mabe and Hardin of course spoke in favor of it while the 3 other spineless members voted along with their elder selfserving morons.

Our school board is run by uneducated and unqualified people. I guess the 125000 dollars were overlooked like the 1.8 million dollars shortfall in the budget. Did then schools director Grant Rowland and the School board members vote on a budget w/o reading it. Way to go CLARENCE MABE, DANNY GOOD,ERIC BARNES,MARY SILVERS,DALLAS HARDIN AND KEITH ERVIN. IF WASHINGTON COUNTY WAKES UP AND VOTES YOU IDIOTS OUT OF OFFICE YOU CAN ALWAYS MOVE TO HOOTERVILLE AND RUN. YOU ALL WOULD FIT RIGHT IN.

Clarence Mabe is the biggest con-man and crook on the school board. He also runs the County Commission behind the scenes.

If anyone needs to be voted out, it's him and his minions. He's the biggest hipocrit in this area.

The school board looks the other way and whines about money when they are faced with serious or legitimate expenditures, but they sure can throw money at their two new fancy schools that weren't needed in the first place. Go look at some of the other schools in the system - like Boones Creek or Joneborough Middle. They are falling apart and some of the tiles in JMS are asbestos filled and crumbling! Yet they won't do a thing about that. 125000 for new bleachers my ass - these morons will be boohooing about money soon enough.

I just saw that the JC Commissioners have decided that a couple of schools need new roofs...who will get that contract?

I'd really like to see the condition of the roofs and find out how they came to that conclusion. Far too often we just blindly follow what they are claiming without questioning. The roofs may very well need to be fixed and the money appropriated, but why should we just trust what they are saying about it?

These people who are supposed to be representing us are giving money away to pad their own pockets. It's time we take back our government and get some common sense management in place, unhindered by special interest.

The Goods are trash that are bought and paid for by Clarence Mabe and other developers interests. He's a wanna-be puppet and he probably doesn't even realize it.

Since you are such a "good friend" of his, you might want to tell him to get his mouth from around Clarence Mabes junk, it's not very "Christian" to sell yourself out for the prospect of getting something off of Mabe. Maybe then Good might actually turn out to be a good commissioner.

Not sure about some these comments made but I am sure we need new leadership in Washington County Tn. This is based solely on the decisions that have been made in recent years not on personalities or any grudges. I wish we could refrain from the namecalling. Just looking at the rationale and questionable hirings, decisions and conytracts giving to cronies is merit enough. I have nothing personal against any of these but do feel we need a new governing body with term limits and strong ethics. ENFORCED AS WELL AS CHANGED.

So you resort to ad hominem person attacks to deflect the points being made that Good is a stooge?

Sorry Mr. Good, but your act only goes so far. I guess you really did think that the people in this area would never wise up to the cronyism and fraud being perpetrated upon them by Mabe and his ilk (you included!).

With any luck, some organizations out there will start working hard to unseat you and the rest of the thugs on the commission. There are already efforts underway from some people with significant financial backing to get the word out in time for the next election.

You must have ran out of beer. My advice to you is become involved with your local election committee and campaign for your choice for school board. Wasting your energy on this platform won't buy your next pack of smokes, reduce your taxes or how there spent. When you call people trash you obviously don't know you set yourself up for ridicule. Now go vote next time!

Again, ad hominem attacks Mr. Good, or is that word too fancy for you?

Your point about getting involved is a good one, but the rest of your post is sheer idiocy. You have done nothing to answer the questions and points that have been raised about the cronyism and the underhanded dealings with Clarence Mabe. Instead, you resort to making false projections on people that disagree with your positions and your connections to people who do not have the best interests of this community at heart - only their own back pocket.

This thread should prove useful come next election time. It shows you know nothing of the community and forums used to communicate with other citizens in the community, be they electronic or otherwise.

The point still stands that Good is trash, mainly due to his inability to make decent, intelligent decisions for the good of the community and his connections to the people and businesses that are stacking the commission and boards with people that help pad their own back pocket at the expense of the taxpayer.

Your latin is not impressive? I quess thats why Mr. Good received over 70% of the vote last election. The rest of your whining is truely pathetic. If coruption exist in this board sooner or later it will come to light as with any political arena. What you seem to not understand is that local successful business people make up these boards and yes that involves people working together to get things done. You truly don't have an understading of business or politics. I'm in this community and for the most part proud of our school systems. Could some decisions be done differently "of course". Thats why we have elections. Express your differences without derogatory names like "Trash" Now go drink a beer!

Ah, I love how you project that I know nothing of "business and politics". If only you knew.......

70% of the electorate indeed. We'll see if that holds up next cycle. Good luck!

Hey, Cry Me, why are your people so good, if the economy is going to hell?

Let me answer that for you...because they know how to spend what they do not have.

Let me answer that one for Mr. Good - blame it on someone else. He'll blame it on the state, he'll blame on the federal government, he'll blame it on Democrats, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and anyone else that makes a good scapegoat for his type.(there's plenty of room to go around on both sides, but his type only sees in Black and White).

They'll continue to lie and cheat, steal our money, and expect us to continue adoring them because they are "good Christians". We have to get the blinders off of our eyes and make some changes - and it starts with throwing out Mabe, Good, Larkey, Buckingham, Bowman, Speropulous, and all the rest.
