Be on the lookout for Morris who is running in the 8th District. He has some common sense ideas. His website is www.votemattmorris.us

If Hammonds, Leonard, and McLain don't run Wash. Co Is sunk!!! All Mabe thinks about is athletics? The heck with everything else! Silvers and Williams are his yes people. With all the govrnment mandates Wash Co better wake up! How is every student suppose to take tests on computers mandated by gov. If schools don't have enough? Board better get there heads out of the sand! Oh wait, if scores aren't high enough we can blame the teachers. The public needs to find out what is going on in our schools. This county jumps on every pilot and grant! Then tries to say it is mandated! Nothing is free ! Who is paying the price? The children and teachers!

<quoted text>Studies have shown the reason US schools are failing compared to other industrialized countries, is the amount of money spent on athletics and other non academic areas. Spend the money on student's learning and let teachers have a voice in how the money is spent. There is too much wasteful spending and non academic positions that need to go. I only hope this IS a teacher who may become politically active to make a change! BTW if you paid teachers $20,000 more a year, they would spend half of that on their classroom providing for their students!
Sure they will. For all of us middle class folks, can you tell us what it is like to drive a new car? I seen on tricities.com keyword "salary' six years ago what every teacher was making. This is with the summers off and all holidays. Yeah all we need is another government worker running for political office to vote themselves raises and promotions.

School employees are not allowed to be on the school board. Don't you remember when Danny Good was a board member and a created athletic director job became available he wanted, so he had to resign on the school board. Trust me if they could have gotten around it they would have. Hoping teachers become politically active, is wishing they would get new people in their community, churches etc. to run for school board or commissioner. Many changes are needed in this school system and the same uninspired people produce the same disappointing results. Since you are not happy over teacher's salaries, you need to follow the money to the CO and what those overpaid a$$ sitters make! No wonder they work well into their seventies! Do your homework mo money, before you disrespect teachers and and other school employees working at the bottom of the totem pole!

Washington County is trying to get rid of the older teachers. I say lets get rid of the older ones at central office.Get rid of Holcomb he is getting paid good for doing nothing we all know about his son the apple don't fall far from the tree and I bet when he gets out of jail he will have a position in Washingtn County.Mabe is in it for his athletic facility and to do what he has to do to make Dykes happy (you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours).Silvers is old and can't even think for herself Mabe and Dykes thinks for her. Williams is a yes man to make Dykes happy. Then you have Karla Kyte getting paid good money to be a real B**** she does a real god job at that but, shes getting to old for the job (I hope she relizes what goes around comes around)Then we have Dykes in it for the money and raises that Mabe,Silvers, and Williams gets for him and the power and the women he's a skirt chaser and it's hard telling what kyte does for him to keep her position. Maybe if we all do Dykes we ill be sitting well off money wise. I wouldn't stoop that low but some has.He likes to be called RD I think it stands for Rotten D*** cause of all the places that it has been.I am so fed up with our so called leaders.

<quoted text>First of all its up to the kids and Parents if the kid wants to participate in sports. They are told what to expect going in. Secind, people like to say Dykes has affairs but it's never been proven. Curious to know when he would have time. If Silvers needs to go then someone needs to run in her district. She was kind enough to run another term because know one else ran. people really need to think before they post
Well when it comes public and it will be sooner than you think there is proof. As far as silvers goes I wish someone would run in her district. To bad I can't

Holy smokes, people in the know are breaking bad and starting to talk about all the questionable characters in this school system. That's what happens when you have all these old self serving statues that have been in the central office over 30 years! It's time to go home and stay home!

In other industrialized countries only the top percentage and wealthy children attend school. In the US, everyone goes. THAT is the reason the US is failing compared to other countries.

Are you kidding me Utsman has been nothing but a yes man and wimped out on many issues. Mabe will tell him to jump and he will ask how high. Besides Utsman stood by and knew Danny Good was up to no good. And he's supposed to be a deacon. Really!!!

<quoted text>These fine upstanding men are who we have influencing our students at Daniel a Boone. Adultery, alcohol, profanity, principal who could care less because he lives an hour away and close to retirement. These boys are pushing Davenport to run for commission, Masters who is banking money off the backs of students and parents, and rumored to be pushing for a Scott Saylor or Scott Utsman who will be a lapdog for Good. This crew wants the Christian men Brinkley and Hammond to go home. Davenport is trying to replace Ford or Nave. We need people who are moral and care.
This bunch sounds like they are going to make more problems for Boone instead of improvements. Heaven help us!

Haven't you heard bread isn't nearly as healthy for you anymore. With the right amount of votes.. Good,Mabe,Masters..and the whole good ole boys are planning on building a 700k athletic facility at Boone. Mabe was overheard telling another board member if he didn't vote his way he would just put Masters in and he.would vote his way.
Now put Bryan Davenport in the mix as commissioner and woowee that's a real good ole boy's club.
Ask questions of the right people and youight get the right answers... ask them the questions and you will get the political runaround....
