I believe you 'cons'. I get the feeling too that 'Noah Fence' is somehow associated with Grindstaff Auto delaerships. No wonder I've lately heard everyone referring to the Grindstaff name as 'Groin Staph' as in a rashy staph infection pain in the nuts.

Both HAWK and JOHN SYKES.

The caps, and angry comments make me think that either you are a twelve year old, or part of the Grindstaff family, trying to 'clear the family name', but the way you're acting, nobody will believe you. There are far too many valid and common points against them.

It didn't help that the vibes the company gave me, and the way they tried to force me into a vehicle I didn't want, was enough to make me walk out.

Groinstaph, Grindshaft, Greenstump.
That Grindstaff name saounds exactly like an STD infection of the privates. The name alone scares me enough to stay farrrrrr awayyyyyy from anyplace with that name on it. Don't want to catch anything.

Be aware when you walk onto any car lot that you are walking into a War Zone. The battle is between you trying to save as much money as you can and the salesman/dealership trying to make as much money as they can. You lose control of the battle the moment you tell the sales rep how much monthly payment you make. Do your homework, know how much money you can spend. Payment calculators are readily available on many websites. Be advised that the dealership would rather finance your car than make a cash deal. They make more money. The finance manager's job is to upsell you on extras. You have no friends in the dealership. Trust no one!

For the record, that's called "capitalism." It's the entire foundation for our economical system and the basis for our society, at-large.

Just a random observation. Feel free to continue to bash Grindstaff, et al.

Good info to know. Thank you. I told the car salesman how much I could pay monthly on my most recent car purchase. Won't ever make that mistake again. Thanks again BenaRound for the advice here.

Keep in mind, the car lot is just a minor business of Mr. G'staff. He doesn't care if you get screwed or not as long as the cars move. The salesmen have little hope of making it big. Their only paycheck relies on the ability to bleed you. Don't blame them, they are just screwing you as a fact of business. If you can afford a brand new car, expect to get shafted on your purchase, after all, you have some of the money up front and are probably over reaching your limits anyhow. If you are out to buy a used car, avoid any dealer and go at it with a private seller.

Great sales staff. But absolutely HORRIBLE store manager. I DO have crappy credit and was looking to BUILD my crappy credit. I beat the score, until they ran my credit 11 times. Now my credit dropped 21 points. When I called to make them aware of the issue the store manager said I was LUCKY they didnt run it 30 times and that if I didnt like the way he did business, then I need to have my attorney contact him. I barely got the story laid out to him, and he interrupted me anytime a word came out of my mouth. He eventually screamed into the phone "You're STUPID!" And he hung up on me. You wont see me back at ANY Grindstaff store if that's the type of employee that makes it to the top!

Ok i have heard things thats simular to what happened to me and my husband.. We went to get a car that was better on gas picked out what we knew we could afford and was happy with our choice and somewhere alon g the way in the coarse of the day and i mean all day we were cohersed into buying a used focus which was pretty and with the gas milage we were looking for well we were told that in was a certified vehicle which we thought was good and it was still under some warrenty another good thing they told us how much our payments would be and they were actually close to what we could afford but we were never told how much the car was and every time i asked the salesman was called away. At the end of the day we were so tired and just wanted to go home when they finally started our paperwork well we bought extra warrenty which was a good thing and were talked into what they call bumper to bumper that covers even the cigerate lighter this is an exact quote if it were to,tear up..well that insurance does not exsist tried to use it and was told it was not covering anything that was neede fixed told it cost an extra 750 well to make this night mare a little shorter what they said they would give me for my trade was 1000 less we didnt catch this til we got home they wore us down to were we would sign anything to get out of there...oh and by the way the focus is a true thru and thru lemon been in garage for tranny repairs 12 times nightmare yes in more ways than one will do this again aboslutly not will borrow money from bank first and then go buy will not fool with any of these well trained thiefs in thier finance dept. and definately not at grindstaf...i do feel the focus was pushed on us we were actulally looking at something else..

Kia is a piece of crap! My buddy bought one and kept it for six months it stayed in the shop five months. The windshield leaked and the water fried the computer was one thing but they were others, a long list of them. Buy Toyota or Nissan.

Ashley is barely educated poor white trash from kingsport waiting for the insurance money. Steve is a washed up has been who has screwed people around for years to the point that they have no business, so when someone walks in they need to rob them to sustain their dwindling lifestyle.
