Stoney Brook Heights
Tired

Bristol, TN

#1 Sep 10, 2013
I'm looking to relocate to the Washington Co. or Sullivan Co. area. And I've been considering Stoney Brook Heights Apartments as an option. One reason I am considering them is because I have recently been approved for Section 8 housing and have a pet that I'm not willing to find a new home for. I'm wondering if anyone here can tell me anything about the apartments and the neighborhood?

I've been struggling for weeks trying to find a decent place to live where the landlord doesn't automatically assume that I'm under-educated, lazy and don't want to work and wont take care of their property. I had no idea that Section 8 has such a bad rap! The only places that I've found so far have been pretty run down or in really bad neighborhoods. If no one knows anything about Stoney Brook Heights, can anyone recommend any other properties that will accept Section 8 (at least ten miles outside of the J.C. city limits) that is a decent place to live as far as the apartment (or house) and the neighborhood goes??

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
