Fed Up

Greeneville, TN

#1 Aug 4, 2010
It's time to take our county back from the property developers (Dan Eldridge, Scott Buckingham, Clarence Mabe, Pat Wolfe, Mark Larkey, Gary Baines, Pete Speropelus, and the list goes on) and give it back to the people. There are the incompetent like Janice Sanders White, who abstains from voting over half the time. Then there is all of the nepotism and cronyism that goes on year after year. Each of these property developers is pushing for a wheel tax. It is time to take back our county!

If you didn't have Businesses developing in the county imagine how high your taxes would be. Business supports the county be increasing the tax base. without an increasing tax base from businesses the burden would be carried by the residents.

Fed up, you're incorrect Pat Wolfe is not a property developer; Wolfe Development does not belong to him. He owns property but he does not develop it. I am not, nor ever will be, a commissioner but I do appreciate those who are willing to take the heat they do for our county. (even when I don't agree w/ their actions and decisions. Notice I said WHEN, not IF.)

Kelly Wolfe, Jonesborough's Mayor, owns Wolfe Development. He's a really good person. And I say that even though I despise the traffic scammeras.

I agree w/ you Ricardus, K.Wolfe is a good guy. I understand that the traffic lights were approved BEFORE he became mayor. I don't like them either but it does seem more safe driving through J'borough now.....By-the-way, Well, P.Wolfe doesn't vote when there is a conflict of interest involving his son's developments. Check the voting records, you'll find this to be true.

Could happen. Lots of folks from all walks of life have gone under with the economy as it is; I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone(developers or otherwise).
