We have Millions of Americans Out of Work, why do we need semi-skilled or uneducated unskilled workers from another country?
What if YOU were one of those Unemployed Americans watching people from another country come in and take the ONLY Job available to you? Betcha wouldn't like it...
I wonder what those Minutemen and Militia would think about you TeaBaggers down there tearing down the fences and gates they built with their own dime on their own time?
That's an easy one, because most Americans will not work the unskilled jobs. Go look how many Americans sign on to work at McDonald's. And I am talking about hireable Americans, not the druggies or boozers. Some, not all, have no skills and should earn their stripes in a low paying job that requires no skills and work up from there. If that is not enough money, work another job. But these days, we have welfare, unemployment, food stamps, etc. to prop them up so they don't have to work. If people would take the initiative to educate themselves and work hard, there are jobs out there. Throwing more money at a problem where throwing money at it hasn't ever worked is ignorant. Some people cannot be helped. An employer can and does have multitudes of openings for skilled labor or entry level positions. There are not enough hireable people to fill them. Look at monster.com , or here in the Tri-Cities at bettertcjobs.com . There are 100's of them. The people screaming about no work are the ones who take drugs, don't present themselves professionally, are lazy or prefer drinking to working. That is our lower income society these days. Throwing money at them will get them drunker, higher and more lazy. It does not help and never has.

Damn, Pop. What kind of world are you living in? You speak of earning stripes, but how did you earn yours? Would you start over in a minimum wage job if yours were yanked out from under you? I don't think so. Speaking of working your way up, just how much ass can you kiss? Evidently you are either retired or have one of those inherited jobs of emptying the cash register when you show up. Assholes like you contribute to the lousy world of employment in this day and time. I'll bet an honest day of work would absolutely kill you! You and your bogus online jobs! We all know they are just a trick to try to get you to enroll in a parasitic "improve yourself" scam and an invitation to spam and online college offers. I'd love to see you try to do an honest day's work.
