It's quite obvious that the "progressive" business model of cities - mainly in the North, NorthEast, and Left Coast is broken and the very reason why said cities are millions in the red.

Here's proof that the fiscal conservative model of doing things is the way to go: Sandy Springs, GA. They privatized virtually everything the city does, except for police and fire protection; because the insurance premiums for a private company providing those services were deemed prohibitively high. But its 911 dispatch center is operated by a private company.

It does not have a fleet of vehicles for road repair, or a yard where the fleet is parked. It does not have long-term debt. It has no pension obligations. It does not have a city hall, for that matter, if your idea of a city hall is a building owned by the city. Sandy Springs rents.

Another city is even more privatized - Maywood, CA...but, it was pushed to extreme measures after it flirted with bankruptcy. Basically, in Maywood EVERY city employee was fired but one. Notice how a "progressive" socialist model leads to bankruptcy - and when it needs fixed - here comes the private sector to the rescue!

Big-government liberalism has broken cities, states, and the federal government...time to fix that.

lol. Yes, yes and yes. All I'm having is doughnuts, coffee and misc juices. I'm not much on healthy here. I maybe could fry up some bacon to give us the salty with the sweet though. Lol

It is a very beautiful day. Sunshine just makes me happy.

You know, it's terrible to think that there are Posters on here that will deliberately infect other Posters' computers, just because they disagree with them. but, I know there are because it's happened to me. Luckily, I have Top of the Line Security equipment and it was caught and removed, in short order.
But, here's the REALLY interesting thing, everytime that it's happened, it has been from a TEApublican Poster!
These People are dangerous and there's NOTHING too sorry for them to do, to get their way, IMO!
The FACT that they are in positions of power in our Federal and State Gov'ts should keep every one of us awake at night, with worry...and it would be justified!
BS. Any virus you get comes from your leftisr propaganda sites that tou keep posting here. More orders from the "party" . We kbow they employ you to further their cause. You are nothing less than anti-American scum doing the bidding of the "party" and your comrade Obama to bring this country down.

Come on for breakfast anytime my friend. There is a great little place right down the street you would love we can dine at. I may be able to dig up a pair of socks if you need them but now you may be on your own with the dream. Unless of course I just made something up. Come on though. We need to beat the crowd.

I'm not even going to waste my time with you about the Civil War!
I can't believe you don't know the answer! It was Elizabeth Warren's own father, "Chief Full-o-Bull"!!

He reportedly killed hundreds of his own braves because they chose death over marrying his stupid daughter! There's even one account where a brave begged to marry a diseased goat instead! Can you even guess what happened after that? Exactly, the "Chief" started dating the goat himself!!

I have to say you were right about "Running Blonde Crow" being an indian though. I found proof of it by checking the Holiday Inn records in Dunlap, and finding corroborative evidence in the attached video.

Thanks for helping us with the story!:)

Apparently Elizabeth Warren's great-grandfather killed an indian, but the indian was drunk and...it was in self defense.

Just to keep you in the loop, I received information that a genuine "felt" picture was seen somewhere in dunlap during last year's 127 sale, believed to be a possible likeness of "Running Blonde Crow" herself! The vendor said a customer who bought the "elvis" version may have bought the one we're after also. I'll let you know. Thanks!

Thanks but....no thanks. I have seen the pivitization of government services up close here in this county, when State Government outsourced mowing state roadbanks during the Sundquist Adm.
When the State workers mowed, they first did a litter pickup, then mowed the banks, and swept the mowed grass from the road. This was done approx. every there weeks throughout the season. Sundquist privatized the mowing to save money. The company that got the bid was a North Carolina based concern. They mow three times a summer. The grass is so high between mowing that it blocks the view at intersections. No litter pickup is done before the mowing, and cans bottles and trash hidden in the hay are thrown out into the roadway along with the mowed hay . There is no sweeping of the refuse and cars are forced to drive in the mix of cans broken bottles and hay left in the roadway. It is so bad that State Workers put on a snowplow and scrape the mess back into the ditchlines after the mowing. What REALLY frosts me is the crews are all Mexicans, none of which will admit to understanding English. How do I know ? Well, I hit a broken bottle thrown out and hidden by the hay with a business vehicle. The bottle cut the tire and caused it to go flat. I caught up with the crew and asked for the boss.....the result ? Nobody could speak English.
Thanks but keep the privatization I would rather pay a little more and have Tennesseeans who need a job and live here and pay taxes do the work. That may cost a little more but the results are worth it.

Great News!

A bill allowing cities like Chattanooga to approve whiskey distilleries emerged from the House State Government Subcommittee today on a 4-1 vote.

Rep. Richard Floyd, R-Chattanooga, spoke against the change to the 2009 law that opened up state and allowed counties to approve distilleries. Floyd at the time removed Hamilton County from the bill.

Floyd is a tee-totaler...just because he doesn't drink - nobody else should. I don't either - but why should I dictate the personal decisions of others?

Of course, one of your Buddies already had my email address and he has free reign over my computer now and has had for a long time.
Guess what, I really couldn't care less, except when he gets pissed and signs me out of everything...that's alittle annoying.
Other than that, if he's that nosy, have at it, is all I can say! If I had really cared and wanted to go to all the trouble of setting everything up, again, I would have already taken it to my computer Tech and had him do a thorough "cleaning". But, it's not that important to me.
I'm actually thinking about getting rid of my computer all together. It's caused me much more trouble than it's worth and I truly wouldn't miss it! I'm dead serious about that, too.
I would be much better off without it. Plus, I'm old school, I don't rely on a computer to breathe, like so many of you have to. It's just a Toy to me.
OMG. This is your funniest lie to date. You would cease ro exist without a computer. And so much for your "Top of the line" protection, uf somwone else has "free reign" over your computer. You are so full of "it" that I can smell you in Mississippi.

Keynesian economics is founded in this one idea "In the end we are all dead" so looting a city or country until bankruptcy IS the plan.

If you look at politics and economics as plumbing you will understand that policy is simply a way of diverting the flow of money.

Progressives/Keynesians put in policy that diverts money into a pipe where they have a tap to siphon off part of the flow. That is their ONE goal. TO siphon off other peoples wealth and become rich and powerful. A central feature of Keynesian policy is debt. Remember, in the end we are all dead so WE won't be the ones paying it back. Keynesian policy is nothing more than credit card fraud on an epic scale. They are parasites living in the gut of capitalism.

Socialists/communists want to take over the entire pipeline and ration out the flow as they see fit. The main function is flat out theft. This is done using governmental force. Destroying the economy is fine since all the wealth will be accumulated at the top, who cares if the standard of living of the whole country crumbles? You will still hold more wealth than you could ever hope to spend.

Capitalists want to put as little restriction on the piping as possible. Thus allowing for new sources of wealth to be created and the private sector to build their own pipelines. The central idea/motivator is "leave me alone and I will build my own wealth". Capitalists build wealth by creating value. Consumers voluntarily exchange wealth for value enriching both parties.

If you strip away the marketing, the abuse, and the exceptions to the rule.... it becomes VERY obvious which path will lead to a better world for everyone.
