What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I do believe he did respond. He said "Put up or shut up". Ball's back in Reid's court to identify his source. Hee. Hee. Yeah! Let the government run things. "Taxpayers lost $833 million over the last decade on the food and beverages supplied by Amtrak, which managed to spend $1.70 for every dollar that received in revenue." That's better than Obama's spending, but still a loss. “It costs passengers $9.50 to buy a cheeseburger on Amtrak, but the cost to taxpayers is $16.15. Riders pay $2.00 for a Pepsi, but each of these sodas costs the U.S. Treasury $3.40.” " Amazon.com is currently selling 24-packs of 12 ounce Pepsi cans for $8.94 -- which averages to about 75 cents per can." Does anyone know how a 75 cent can of soda becomes $3.40? Or a cheeseburger becomes $16.15? you can get an entire happy meal and a TOY for % bucks. Oh, yeah Obamacare is gonna REDUCE costs. That's just after Obama gets the unemployment rate under 8% and closes Gitmo. You freakin idiots.

Lessee. Bias in the press. It was announced today that unemployment went UP to 8.3%. 163,00 jobs were added, while 150,000 were dropped off the count since their benefits ran out. So how was this reported? Reuters Canada: WASHINGTON (Reuters)- Employers in July hired the most workers in five months, but an increase in the jobless rate to 8.3 percent muddled the near-term outlook for monetary policy. Nonfarm payrolls rose 163,000 last month, the Labor Department said on Friday, beating economists' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 100,000 gain. That snapped three straight months of job gains below 100,000 and offered hope for the struggling economy. However, the unemployment rate rose from 8.2 percent in June, even as more people gave up the search for work and a survey of households showed a drop in employment. How about AP? AP: WASHINGTON (AP)-- U.S. employers added 163,000 jobs in July, a hopeful sign after three months of sluggish hiring. The Labor Department said Friday that the unemployment rate rose to 8.3 percent, from 8.2 percent in June. Stronger job creation could help President Barack Obama's re-election hopes. No bias there. Cheerleaders cheer the most when their team is losing: Hey, You OBAMA fans, Stand up and clap your hands! Go Barack Go, Go Barack Go! Hey, You OBAMA Fans Now let's see you wave your hand! Go Barack Go, Go Barack Go! Go Barack Go, Go Barack Go!

Barack “You didn’t build that” Obama. Said that he wouldn’t be using his thought machine, aka, the Teleprompter, after his comments last week that alienated every small business entrepreneur in the country. He also said he’d close Gitmo and have unemployment under 8%, so it should come as no shock that he is back to using his teleprompter again: President Obama spoke to supporters in Florida this afternoon, but was careful to stick to his script, relying heavily on his teleprompters. The president campaigned without teleprompters last month, when he made his controversial "you didn't build that" remark about business owners. A campaign aide insisted last week that Obama's slip up wouldn't change the campaign's teleprompter strategy. “The attempts by the Romney campaign to make this into their rallying cry haven’t changed anything,” said a senior campaign official to the Hill, adding that Obama “has done events without a teleprompter since then.” Look at the picture of him reading with his finger. He’s lost his MOJO, folks….. http://washingtonexaminer.com/back-on-the-tra...

Dunlapian wrote: <quoted text>Nowhere in the GOP playbook does it say, "Innocent until proven guilty"! Yesterday was the culmination of a local race that included allegations of drug sales, infidelity, a child born to a mistress of a certain candidate, accusations of numerous lies told to voters and the NRA, accusations of being anti-education, non-Christian, cruel to animals, being lazy, sleeping with a former politician to gain his support and influence....I could list 20 more at least. In fact this race ended up being THE most contentious I have seen in years. You would assume that with the gulf that exists between the parties, this was to be expected except.....this race was a primary of REPUBLICAN candidates. This being East Tennessee, no Democrat is running. For a bunch that supposedly worships Ronald Reagan, they had a real problem with his 11th commandment ! In my opinion, the most qualified candidate won, despite a ton of mud slinging that has been relentless throughout the campaign. I am happy this race is over, and to get back to my friend "Dunlapian's point, none of the four running seemed to subscribe to "innocent until proven guilty".

I think that's what the Nation has been saying to Romney...put up & we'll shut up. That's probably where he heard it, since he doesn't seem to be very much of a "Free thinker" himself & certainly doesn't seem to be able to come up the one solution that would stop all of this in it's track, like...releasing his Tax Statements. Duh! How on Earth could he come up with any solutions to the Nation's complicated problems, as President, if he can't even figure out what to do to stop all this speculation about whether or not he paid Taxes for 10 years, assuming Reid's accusation is NOT true, of course! If the accusation is true, then the answer is obvious as to why he refuses to release them!
