Obamacare glitches, endless wait times and premium rate increases that are now associated with Obamass. obamass spent 1.4 BILLION TAXPAYERS money to Canada, YES CANADA because it is such a catastrophe they did not want anyone in the US to know. Keep it secret as long as you can and who cares nobody wants or needs a job here in the US, right?

“If you’ve been waiting to be covered in mandates, regulations and new fees, the time is finally here “the system is down” message at the healthcare.gov website.“You guys, stop showing that screen.”

“Obamacare may cause wait times, a decline in health care quality, money loss, political activism, anger, despair, hopelessness, frustration, European envy, dependence and nausea.”
“If you wish to opt out of Obamacare for any reason, please start a multimillion dollar business, join a union or run for Congress,” the video’s narrator concludes.
Sometimes you have to laugh so you won’t cry. No just cry.

In the current fight over the government shutdown, Republicans are simply representing the views of the American people.

Americans didn't ask for Obamacare, they don't want it, but now their insurance premiums are going through the roof, their doctors aren't accepting it, and their employers are moving them into part-time work -- or firing them -- to avoid the law's mandates.

Contrary to Obama's promises, it turns out: You can't keep your doctor, you can't keep your insurance -- you can't even keep your job. In other words, it's a typical government program, but this one wrecks your health care.

Also, the president did raise taxes on the middle class in defiance of his well-worn campaign promise not to. Indeed, Obamacare is the largest tax hike in U.S. history.

Among the other changes effected by this law are:

-- Obamacare will allow insurers to charge 50 percent higher premiums for smokers, but prohibits insurers from increasing premiums for those with HIV/AIDS.

-- Nationally, Obamacare will increase men's individual insurance premiums by an average of 99 percent and women's by 62 percent. In North Carolina, for example, individual insurance premiums will triple for women and quadruple for men.

-- Health plans valued at $27,500 or more for a family of four will be taxed at a rate of 40 percent.

-- No doctors who went to an American medical school will be accepting Obamacare.

-- A 62-year-old man earning $46,000 a year is entitled to a $7,836 government tax credit to buy health insurance. But if he earns an extra $22 in income, he loses the entire $7,836 credit. He will have more take-home pay by earning $46,000 than if he earns $55,000.(If he's lucky, he already works for one of the companies forced by Obamacare to reduce employees' hours!)

-- Merely to be eligible for millions of dollars in grants from the federal government under Obamacare, education and training programs are required to meet racial, ethnic, gender, linguistic and sexual orientation quotas. That's going to make health care MUCH better!

-- Obamacare is turning America into a part-time nation. According to a recent report by economist John Lott, 97 percent of all jobs added to the economy so far this year have been part-time jobs. Ninety-seven percent!

-- Obamacare is such a disaster that the people who wrote it refuse to live under it themselves. That's right, Congress won a waiver from Obamacare.

A longtime Democratic operative, Karen Finney, explained the Democrats' intransigence on MSNBC to a delighted Joan Walsh (aka the most easily fooled person on TV) by comparing House Republicans to a teenager trying to borrow his mother's car. "No, I'm not negotiating!" Mother says. "It's MY CAR!"

This wasn't a stupid slip of the tongue that other Democrats quickly rejected. Finney had used the exact same metaphor to a panel of highly agreeable MSNBC guests the day before.(MSNBC books no other kind of guest.)

But the Democrats refuse to even negotiate. It's their government -- and if you Republicans think you're going out dressed like that, you've got another thing coming! Needless to say, they absolutely will not consider the Republicans' demand that Democrats merely live under Obamacare themselves.

The MSNBC crowd calls Republicans "arsonists" every 15 minutes. They ought to check with fellow MSNBC host Al Sharpton. He knows his arsonists! In 1995, Sharpton whipped up a mob outside the Jewish-owned Freddy's Fashion Mart with an anti-Semitic speech. Sometime later, a member of the mob torched the store, killing seven Hispanic employees.

If you are in the minority of Americans not already unalterably opposed to Obamacare, keep in mind that the only reason the government is shut down right now is that Democrats refuse to fund the government if they are required to live under Obamacare.

Dear Mr. President:

As the temporary slowdown in government operations enters its second week, I write to explain why conservatives have insisted on making the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act the prime source of contention. Speaking for our organization, I can tell you we’re in this fight because of the harm the law is inflicting on Americans across the country.

We are fighting for people like Michael Cerpok, a leukemia patient in Arizona, who recently learned he will lose his current health insurance due to this misguided law. He notes that “my $4,500 out-of-pocket [expense] is going to turn into a minimum of $26,000 out-of-pocket to see the doctor that I’ve been seeing the last seven years,” and he worries that he and his wife might need to take second jobs to stay afloat.

We are fighting for people like California resident Tom Waschura, who voted for you twice, yet was shocked by the higher premium bill he recently received in the mail. Tom’s insurance rates will go up by almost $10,000 for him and his family. He fears that these higher premiums will harm his family, and jobs in his area:“When you take $10,000 out of my family’s pocket each year, that’s otherwise disposable income or retirement savings that will not be going into our local economy.”

We are fighting for people like Rod Coons and Florence Peace, a retired Indiana couple satisfied with their current coverage.“I’d prefer to stay with our current plan because it meets our needs,” says Rod. But their plan isn’t government-approved under Obamacare’s new rules, so Rod and Florence are losing their health insurance plan at the end of this year.

You have claimed that Obamacare has nothing to do with the budget. But over the next decade, this widely unpopular program will add nearly $1.8 trillion in new federal spending—and will cost taxpayers trillions more beyond that, making it nearly impossible to balance the federal budget. What’s more, for millions of struggling Americans, the law will crush their family budgets due to fewer work hours, lost jobs, and higher premiums. With the economy still mired in a scattered and sluggish recovery, these people deserve relief from Obamacare—and they deserve it now.

Your Administration has already granted numerous waivers and exemptions during the three years since the law was passed. Millions of union members received temporary waivers from the law’s costly benefit requirements. Big businesses have received a one-year delay from the onerous employer mandate—a delay your Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, struggled to defend in an interview earlier this week. And Members of Congress have obtained special treatment for themselves and their staffs—illegally—that allows them to continue to receive taxpayer-funded insurance subsidies.

At a time when so many Americans are suffering because of the rollout of this new law, I remain puzzled by your failure to acknowledge the faults caused by this unfair, unworkable, and unpopular measure. We believe the law should be fully repealed, but at minimum, both sides should agree not to fund the law for one year—a “time-out” that would halt the law’s most harmful effects before they start.

Even though Democrats have thus far refused to negotiate on anything related to the current government slowdown, millions of citizens need relief from this law. I encourage you and your Administration to work with Congress on ways to stop Obamacare from harming the American people and the American economy.

All the best,

I agree with everything in that post. Good Job!

What I do not agree with, is the elitist in the GOP caving in and catering to the democrats at every bend in the road.

And when some brave Tea Party guy like Ted Cruz does actually stand up to fight the encroachment of communism into our government, the misguided members of the elitist GOP Old Guard (McCain, Alexander, Corker, et al) come out and stab him in the back, undermine him, sic Fox News to slander or ridicule him, and basically pull the rug out from under his feet.

And the same GOP Senators voted with the democrats and allowed Harry Reid to pull the "defund" language out of the spending bill, and so set the table for the democrats to easily run it.

And these same GOP Senators set themselves up for yet another meaningless "show vote" so they could say that they voted against Obamacare (though they had set the victory up for the democrats).

And now we see John Boehner and the mainstream GOP in the house doing a running retreat, looking for a way to surrender while Obama and the democrats laugh at them.

The only group that the democrats arent laughing at, is the Tea Party.

They attack them with ever increasing fury. Their attacks are becoming more shrill, frantic, and maniacal against the Tea Party.

Which means that they must fear the Tea Party after all.

And why not?

The Tea Party is the only group in the universe of conservatism that hasnt retreated or surrendered without a fight, to the forces of socialism.

The Tea Party is the legacy of Ronald Reagans conservative ideology of smaller government, respect for the Constitution, and push back against rampant socialism.

The mainstream GOP doesnt stand up for anything, and they act as if they have never heard of Ronald Reagan.

When was the last time a mainstream GOP politician even mentioned family values?

When was the last time we saw any of the mainstream GOP politicians act like they had some "fire in the belly"?

Watching the mainstream GOP in the House and Senate trying to pretend to oppose Obama and the march of socialism, is like watching a rockem-sockem robots game where only one of the robots is swinging, and the other just stands there motionless and gets its head knocked off.

That is why the Tea Party is the last political force that has a chance to stand up for American values.

I hope that this time (elections of 2014), the conservative voters dont just blindly march into the voting booth and just pull the republican lever out of habit. America cant withstand that any more.

The stakes are just too high to continue to elect do-nothing surrenderist GOP bureaucrats, like Alexander, Corker, and Roe.

Now the conservative voters will need to carefully examine the Tea Party candidates with a genuinely open mind, and realize that a vote for the usual mainstream GOP candidate, is a vote for empty promises and no real will to fight.

But a vote for a Tea Party candidate, is like a vote for Ronald Reagan.

And that is why the left is attacking the Tea Party so much more than they are attacking the mainstream GOP, whom they show contempt for.

The left is afraid of the Tea Party, because we can fight them politically, and we can win. We can stop them cold.

Our message has the power to wake up the American people.

So, the Tea Party is rising from the ashes of the GOP, and after more than a score of forgotten years, the conservatism of Ronald Reagan is being reborn across America.

Take a breath. Feel that? That feeling of goodness and freedom we havent had since the Reagan Years? That almost forgotten feeling of the power of righteousness?

It smells like...Freedom!

That is what the Tea Party is all about.

Folks, let's face the facts. WE HAVE NO FACTS TO RELY ON! Stop going off half cocked and let's see what the real deal is. So far all I've heard is second hand information, depending on which side you want to listen to. Now is a good time to shut up, weigh the upcoming information and THEN polarize if you want to, being sure to keep the bullshit filter on. No use in harboring pre disposed thought. Let the stuff come out in the open, then start raising hell if you feel the need to. It's obvious we can't do much about it right now, being that all we are hearing is designed to make us start accusing and finger pointing before we even know fact from illusion. Calm down, wait it out, then decide. Don't jump until the lick hits you! Think about it. No use in isolating yourself into an opinion quite yet.

The reason you have no info about anything, is because the website does not work.

It sounds like it will will be good for our family. The health care coverage calculator on the Kaisr Family Foundation website gives me confidence that come January first we will have coverage again! The naysayers in all likelihood have not investigated the affect the ACA will have on them. The anecdotes mentioned in some of the posts only serves to remind me that as long as for profit insurance companies are involved the health care consumer will continue to be jerked around by the true "death panels"; insurance bureaucrats!
