If heirloom seeds become illegal would there be reward for turning your grandmother in?(Of course some idiots nephew would get a job driving around looking for suspect gardens and unlawful seeds.)

And what are the Republicans doing to save our freedoms?

Check this out...

http://www.wjhl.com/story/22176420/obama-play...

Just shows that we need a whole new crew of politicians in Washingon. The ones we have (from both parties) seem to be "inadequate" in supporting the Constitution and defending our rights as free citizens of a free country.

I think we should all realize who is behind this. Monsanto the agricultural giant claims patent rights on seeds they have genetically altered. Hand in hand with the government they are trying to make it a crime to save seeds for replanting. This is an outrage. Heirloom varieties will fall by the wayside under these regulations. What a disgusting way to make tons more money!

Its far more sinister than that, I fear.

Remember how in the Book of Revelation where we are told how people will not be able to buy or sell anything unless they have taken the Mark of the Beast?

(In other words, they are not allowed to grow their own food?)

I think this is really what these types of regulations are all about.

And the fact that the American people of this day are asleep and allowing these things to happen, is underscored by the realization that this very generation is exactly the ones who deserve it the most.

..."But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."...Mathew 24:37

The people of the world were given over to the same sins as are on the rise today, and they didnt listen to the warnings of Noah either.

Monsanto and the government are in cahoots. They have developed a group of vegetable seeds that are resistant to the weed killer Roundup. Now just guess who own the patent to Roundup. Monsanto of course. I can hear them now "Oh, don't worry, Roundup won't hurt you! You are not a plant!" Research is indicating the link between Roundup and birth defects, cancer and other illnesses but the government seems to be short sighted on it. Long ago this would have been considered a monopoly, but I'll bet Monsanto and the gvt. have the bases covered on that.

So you plant with Monsanto seeds. After they sprout you soak the garden with Roundup and never have to weed? I'd prefer not to eat from that garden.

So you support the idea of the government labeling someone as a terrorist just for growing a small garden, and locking them up in prison over it?

Typical liberal leftist apologist.

Here is a recent story on Obama signing what is being called the "Monsanto Protection Act"...

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/31/ob...

Funny how the liberal news media squashed the story for him, isnt it? Funny how they are all about airing months and months of emotionalism and knee-jerk reactions pushing gun control and other radical leftist ideology...but they never seem to tell the people the real things that Obama is doing.

Why do you suppose the media is doing this?

Could it be that they are just bought and paid for propagandist?

Not only is this a concern, but the ongoing privatization of the United States water supply is something to look into, also.

And now there is the latest admission of wrong doing by the IRS in that it specifically targeted "Conservative Groups" last year.

And pressured them to reveal their lists of donors.

To target them too, perhaps?

Here is the story link...

http://swampland.time.com/2013/05/10/irs-admi...

Clearly this administration is out of control, and abusing its power. But it gets even scaryier, like this...

And then there is the "Food Safety Modernization Act"...

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Of course, the Senate Democrats rushed it through the Senate and passed it (Just like they did Obamacare and tried to do with the gun control bill).

America needs to wake up and realize that the Democrats are really taking this country into a hole that we might not be able to get out of. Its called tyranny.

It shows that we the voters need to vote out the democrats in 2014, and make Obama a lame duck president before he can do any more damage.

Back to the subject. Monsanto taking over the agricultural world. Why don't we all just give them a good grass roots rebellion? I'm not talking about going to court, we have no chance there, it's bought and paid for. I say, in every vacant field, your garden, any place with soil, plant tons of seed of your choice. These vultures suck. Why not overcome them with free food? I know many of you will say this is insanity, but what have you got to lose?.........plenty! Imagine Johnny Appleseed being busted. This stuff has to be nipped in the bud.

Me and my gf plant tomatoes from seeds we dry out from store bought ones. It's our way of sticking it to the man. This year when our homegrown maters come in, I'll make sure we use seeds from them instead of the store bought variety. I like your idea

And now here is proof that Obama and the democrats are "weaponizing" Obamacare, and appointing (rewarding) the IRS official that led the last illegal activity from that agency, as directed by Obama.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/05/17/ou...

There you go. Obamacare aint what it was spun and hyped to be, is it? The snake really does have fangs and venom. America should have never picked it up and put it in our pocket.

We conservatives tried to warn you. But the starry eyed college liberal kids, the raving nutcase left wing extremist, and the leftist trolls were able to convince enough people to not research the issues deeply, but to just "vote soundbite" and allow the left wing news to do thier thinking for them.

And this is what is the result...tyranny.

That's a fine idea! Johnny Appleseed would approve. Why not plant any spare seeds? Run them up and down the road in fields abandoned property and maybe even all along the interstate.Plant them all along the outskirts of big corporate farms. I am not a botanist, only a hobby farmer, but maybe the hybrid vigor of wild vegetable plants could cross pollinate with Monsanto's and return them to their original or lesser genetic traits. Ever had somebody plant field corn near your sweet corn? Then you know what I mean. Used to be plant by the light of the moon meant following the signs. Now we need to plant under the cover of darkness. All you gardeners, find a bunch of good places to plant your leftover seeds. Just don't plant your field corn near my place!
