I applied for a job at citi is there any way you can call them to speed up the process of knowing if you will get an interview or not? I applied a few days ago about how long does it take for someone to call you back if you qualify?? Does ANYBODY know???

MY DAUGHTER HAD RECEIVED BONUS AFTER BONUS WITH THIS COMPANY AS WELL AS BEING RECOGNIZED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY THEN WAS FIRED FOR NO APPARENT REASON. Maybe you ought to check the termination paper when it comes in the mail. I bet it won't say, "no apparent reason." Also you might ask her how much vacation she has used this year because if she used vacation that she had not earned yet, they deduct that from your final paycheck. Also, her paycheck may also be short because when you are first hired, you get paid with the first pay period that comes for all employees. It is not on a lag like a lot of companies. Since you get paid for hours you didn't work, they deduct that from your final paycheck. I'm not some kiss ass employee, but I'm just letting you know what could have happened.

Open 7 days a week and the hours vary by department. There is someone in that building almost 24 hours a day.
You are on a set schedule, but the type of schedule also varies by department. Some are weekly schedules, some are 2 week rotations. Some involve working at least one weekend day each week and some work one weekend a month.
And the last I heard it was full-time only.

Improper conduct is an understatement and is it any coincidence that Omar "left" when she did? There were others that left at the same time too but none of them had a choice in the matter. NO don't do it run for your life as the person above stated. i worked there 2 years in customer service and it was horrible i would come home in tears almost every day from being cussed constantly by customers then if they hang up on you and at that time you are being Qc'd you get a bad grade.. there's nothing you can do to keep someone from hanging up on you if they are going to do so . You have to send emails to get permission to log out and go to the rest room. I always called it the sweat shop cause that's what it feels like there. I can say the pay isn't horrible and the benefits are awesome but other than that it is pretty bad and as someone above stated as long as you arent drama and come to work its fine no its not i am neither drama and i never missed a day of work the whole time i was there and I still was about to have a breakdown and I had an awesome manager so it wasn't a problem with my boss at all. Yes they look down on you if you have an accent because I have a pretty bad southern accent and the main bosses can't stand that . I worked 11am-7pm then they decided they were going to go for split shifts you work half a day then take 2 hrs off then come back i couldnt do that with the distance i lived from this place. They want your whole life....

Now, years ago, corporations couldn't treat people like this. But you people keep electing Ron Ramsey and Citibanc gives him the money he needs to get your vote. So once he's in office, he protects THEIR interests. NOT yours ,,,,,,!!!!

I work there now....and I absolutely love it!!!....Citi is a great company to work for!! It's like anything else, you have to learn the job whether it be customer service or collections.....and continue to try to become better in every aspect.......this type of job is not for everyone, but it is a good opportunity....good benefits and great people to work with!.........thankful to have it! GOD is Good!

Yeah this post makes no sense. I have worked at Citi for 7 years and i can promise you they dont fire anyone unless they have a great reason to. I have seen many people walked out for falsifying timecards or from accessing realitves accounts when that is clearly a violation of policy or even for some form of theft but i have never seen anyone walked out for no reason. I can tell you that the managers have to go thru their supervisors and thru hr to get approval to be able to fire someone. As far as the paycheck goes sounds like she had plan time that she had taken before it was earned in which case they do take it out of your paucheck when you leave.
