How do you feel about this law? Is it fair? Is it racist to assume minorities need special help to compete in the job market?

i'm black and white.. and if a blacker black person uses it on me they probably can..
only way for me to get anything is to be up against someone whiter than me..

Seems to me Affirmative Action has done much more harm than good. It has led to reverse racism and many forms of entitlement. This has just further divided the idea of equality of our citizens, regardless of their race. It has provided an excuse for minorities to act as a subculture, separate but equal until it comes down to actually being based on hard work. Don't get me wrong, I work with minorities ranging from black, Asian, and good people that I have no idea where they are from. There is only one thing that keeps them employed and that is actually doing the job without drama.

This action hurts the people it is meant to help. I have seen this happen by placing people who meet the ethnic quota in jobs they are not capable of doing. Needless to say they end up quitting and the employer is left to go through the hiring process again.
