Studies show that no enviromental impact will result in the 600 multi-family homes that will surround the tree.
What about "human" impact?
Eventually the City of Charleston will need to budget for razor wire to surround the tree. By that time vandals will spray paint and may even burn our beautiful landmark.
They obviously weren't thinking about everything.
Not even the name. ANGELOAKVILLAGE.COM check it out!

Right you are OMFG! There could easily be 2000+ people living within a 2 minute walk to The Angel Oak.
