Young man arrested in Boron slaying of elderly woman

A 72-year-old woman was stabbed and killed by a 23-year-old man Tuesday night in her Boron apartment, Kern County Sheriff's Department said. via Bakersfield Californian

This is crap.. I live in this SMALL town this town is too small for this to happen there has been so much trash that rolls into town these days and as for sheriffs ha! they are up to 30 mins away that is if they even show up most of the time they try to take a report over the phone. Now we have a sheriff station here.. but guess what.. theres no one there!! i am so sorry this had to happen. kern county needs to step it up and atleast give us some full time people here.. 30 mins or longer is entirely too long to wait for help.

How sad for this woman's family. To live such a wonderful caring life only to have it taken away.

This young man needs serious help, I hope he gets it. No one is born to murder, I can only pray for both families.. so sad...
