Great@!!! You and all the other tea party repubs just take your ball and go home. You can't win the way you want so you just don't want to do a damn thing but let the country go to hell. EVERBODY has the tea parties number and it’s a double zero. Don't want your man/woman in congress to compromise like every member of congress has had to do to make this country great since it was founded. Fine, you really don't matter that much now, and with every election cycle you and your elected zombies matter less.
Sane people are going to do what the tea party could not do, take our country back!! But we are going to take it back from clueless self-centered people just like YOU!
So just what do you think was accomplished here? Payroll taxes are going up on everyone starting now. The sequestration "cliff" has just been kicked down the road another two months - yeah, that's real leadership. And anyone with a clue knows that the problem is not that taxes are too low, it is that the government is drunk on spending and WILL NOT be responsible and control the hemorrhage. I'll believe the House, the Senate and this President are serious about doing what is right for this country when they abolish base line budgeting and pass a balanced budget amendment. Then they might have some credibility. The self-centered are those who refuse to cut spending and are consequently mortgaging our children's and our grandchildren's futures.

To hear you complain, you must be one of those making more than $400,000.00 a year from interest, dividends, trust funds and tax shelters - anything but a salary.

PLEASE MODERATOR: Please Moderator take this thread off the Douglas Ga topix forum. We have had it on here for months and it does not concern us nor does anyone here participate in it. We have other things to read besides some wanna be Jazz nut and his friends in Atlanta. This is South Ga Douglas Ga, not Douglas County. Thank You.

Gingrey is our elected representative and just as much a part (if not more) of the problem. He is only responsive to the big corporate lobbyists.

If you notice, he will appear if there is a camera nearby.

No matter how many different names you post under you still ain't got a clue. The middle class just got raped by Harry and Obama. Take the scales off of your eyes and look at what just happened.

Until everyone understands what the progressive movement is up to we will all suffer. The spending has to be stopped period. Look at what was in the bill.

Workers making $30,000 will take a bigger hit on their pay than those earning $500,000 under new fiscal deal.

CONGRESS, including Rand, Camp, Boehner and ALL the others, especially those on the House W&M Committee, screwed us - again!

Placing exclusive "blame" on the "other side" for what's happening in Washington is just plain stupid. Thinking that "my side" would do it better is even more stupid! Step back for a minute and look at it OBJECTIVELY and you'll realize they're playing all of us for fools.

You and I do not have a "side." We're at the mercy of special interests and the sooner more of us wake up to that fact, the better.

In terms of precentage of earned income (up to around $117,000 of wages), you're right. Neither "side" proposed letting that "2% with-holding tax holiday" continue.

General, sir. Would you mind telling me why, at Gettysburg, did you order General Longstreet to attack Mead's forces at the center of the line rather than perform a flanking maneuver from the right?

Thanks. I hope you are feeling well sir.

Yep. And too many clueless and uneducated people don't know or care enough to see it or understand what it means...

You seem to be operating at a slower pace than normal today, which is frustrating. Maybe you're feeling tired and listless, or you've hit a series of snags. You might also feel overwhelmed by duties and obligations, particularly if they're connected with your job or with neighborhood activities. Perhaps you need to delegate?
