@ Aggie.

I posted earlier where I thought the U.S. was headed in regards to government control over it's citizens.

I said I believed within the next 15 years or so we would be ruled by "get tough military actions against civilian rule" under the authority of a 3-5 person group of socialists or communists.

The following link gives some more info on what is being setup for that to occur.

"the militarization of domestic law enforcement. By making a few subtle changes to a regulation in the U.S. Code titled “Defense Support of Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies” the military has quietly granted itself the ability to police the streets without obtaining prior local or state consent, upending a precedent that has been in place for more than two centuries."

Of course it does. You see how the 'green squared' folks react. Especially the one who screams the loudest. Louder and most often in an attempt to drown out everything. Like Michele Bachman or just pick any number from a long list of fanatical conservatives. Even the conservative Joe Scarborough calls it "groupthink". Check out the link below. There is a pattern that permeates the whole of the fanatical movement.

It all depends on the quality of thinking and decisions, doesn't it?
If the person thinking for himself decides:
~Evolution doesn't exist despite 100 years of science and tons of evidence.
~Climate change isn't happening because it would be inconvenient for your campaign contributors.
~Corporations are more important to protect than individual citizens because of their money.
~ The people that benefit the most from our society get to pay the smallest percentage of taxes
~America can't afford health care for it's citizens.
~spending Trillions on unfunded wars for no good cause is a good idea but paying America's bills is a bad idea.
~Going against an overwhelming majority of citizens wishes and instead deciding to suck the NRA's d!ck is a good idea.
~Voting THIRTY-SEVEN TIMES for the repeal of a law that helps millions and millions and reigns in a corrupt industry is a good idea.
~Deciding during a time of recession and difficulty for real middle-class humans that you're going to "block everything" just because your party didn't win an election is responsible leadership.
~Continually promoting PROVEN failed economic policy because it is beneficial to your campaign contributors over your constituents is a good idea.
If THAT is thinking and logic you do on your own - well - we can do with less of that "thinking".
Tell us what your thinking says is the solution to the stalemate in congress.

As a matter of fact, ChicknNutt, why don't you tell us what your thinking says is the solution to all of the problems in America. That includes social and racial an crime issues as well. What is your solution? What is your desired end result?

I don't expect you to answer until at least next week, you'll need time to consult with Obama first.

Hey ChicknNutt, is this an example of your way of thinking?

NBC's Lisa Myers reported this morning that the IRS deliberately chose not to reveal that it had wrongly targeted conservative groups until after the 2012 presidential election:
