I'll take that as your admission that I was correct that Jesus never said a single bad thing about gays, and that we aren't to judge people for who they like to sleep with.
If you believe the Old Testament verses that say being gay is bad, we also have to believe you think its fine to sell your kids into slavery, but if you get a haircut you're doomed to Hell.
That Muslim Taliban's got nothin compared to our own Christian Taliban.
If the Old Testament is right when it says gays are headed to Hell, then so is those crazed sinners who get haircuts or eat shrimp (another abomination).
We can't pick and choose only parts of the Old Testament to believe now, can we ?
It aint the picking, it's the twisting you are famous for.

<quoted text>Typical liberal tactic of telling only a small prt of the story. That is called a lie, by the way.
Then you follow up with a bunch of name calling because you're too lazy to back up your foolish lies. Nice. By the way, why are solar panels exempt from the made in America Act? Or weren't you aware?
Lots of words - no substance.

Name one thing said that wasn't accurate. Oh.. Can't be done.

Solar panels ... exempt from some act ?

-Thousand of dead Marines,
-$6,000,000,000,000.00 in costs.
- 3,000 dead at WTC.
- Protected bin Laden.
- Doubled the deficit.
- Constitution in tatters.
- Economic disparity highest in industrialized world.

and you're losing sleep because of solar panels and some act ?

That maybe explains why Right Wingers thought invading Iraq would teach the bin Laden family running Saudi Arabia not to kill another 3,000 Americans - they just link things together differently than the rest of us.

The economy's relentless growth means federal surpluses will be far larger than estimated, leaving plenty of room for George W. Bush's proposed tax cut, aides to the presidential contender said Tuesday.

Yesterday House Democrats unveiled a “Make it in America” agenda that is designed to spur domestic job creation with a series of common sense and proven reforms to address the nation’s persistent unemployment crisis by promoting exports, strengthening trade enforcement, hiking infrastructure spending, and rewarding companies that stop shipping Americans’ jobs overseas. The Democrats’ goal is to rebuild and restore the rapidly vanishing middle class, and it is dependent on four areas of focus including a manufacturing strategy, promoting exports, training and educating workers for a modern economy, and enticing companies to relocate and bring back jobs to America. It is not a new agenda, but there is concrete evidence that it is key to jumpstarting the economy and putting the country on a path to fiscal health with a vibrant middle class.
Republicans, led by John Boehner, take an opposing view based on destruction evident in the language they use according to their ideological bent based on cutting spending, eliminating regulations, slashing taxes for the wealthy, and removing government they claim is an impediment to their corporate donors. When Republicans parrot the Ronald Reagan mantra of “getting government out of the way,” they literally mean getting rid of the government they claim inhibits economic growth by stifling the private sector’s ability to create jobs. However, for the past four years private enterprise has thrived as a result of President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (stimulus), and complained their biggest impediment to creating jobs is not taxes, regulations, or government spending, but a weakened consumer base too poor to afford their products as a result of Republicans’ wont of killing public sector jobs, cutting spending, and rewarding corporations that move their operations, and Americans’ jobs, overseas.
Republicans have been on a destructive path for over thirty years, and crucial to their attack on the people is “getting government out of the way” to allow their corporate donors to run roughshod over the population. Their persistent calls to cut spending have not, and will not, create one job, and their cuts are for the sole purpose of giving more tax breaks to the rich. Their assault on regulations during the Bush administration allowed Wall Street and financial institutions to cause the greatest economic recession since the Great Depression, and they have their sights set on regulations today that are guaranteed to kill jobs, the environment, and put the financial sector in the drivers’ seat to create a repeat of the 2007-2008 crash. One of the Democratic proposals to create jobs is investing in green and renewable energy that Congressional Republicans will block as the Koch brothers and ALEC rescind renewable energy standards in every Republican controlled state.
WHY do I ALWAYS have to ask you to post your links? You MUST be hiding something. How hard is that for you to do???? This OBVIOUSLY has an EXTREME left wing slant. Of course, he has PROPOSED this. lol That part is EASY. He is ALWAYS manipulating his minions. Hilarious. Wonder how he'll set it up so that he can blame the republicans when he doesn't actually DO ANYTHING?.

Your effort to make this look like NEW news has failed.
Diane wa-wa of ABC evening news has been talking about this for the last several years.
Thursday Aug 5, 2010:
On Wednesday, President Obama used the platform of the AFL-CIO Executive Council to emphasize reviving American manufacturing and keeping jobs in America as his administration's new economic priority. After having failed to aggressively push for large-scale jobs creation in the face of Washington's deficit mania, Obama has unveiled new economic promises to appeal to the labor constituency he needs for the 2010 and 2012 elections.
He even insisted that his administration would "keep on fighting" for the Employee Free Choice Act—although it's been perfectly obvious to most sentient beings that his administration did virtually nothing to promote one of labor's top legislative priorities. A few progressive bloggers attacked the hypocrisy of the comments, such as Firedoglake's Michael Whitney:
For Obama to even mention the Employee Free Choice Act as anything but a deader-than-dead failure of his administration is an insult to the intelligence of every working person in America. Obama had the opportunity to push through the Employee Free Choice Act between February and April 2009. He let it linger, then let Democrats start sniping at it, and then the ship sailed with Scott Brown's election.
Still, his broader economic message was welcomed by labor, despite the disappointment that labor has periodically expressed over centrist compromises over health reform and inaction on the Employee Free Choice Act.
"The message I want to deliver to our [foreign] competitors—and to those in Washington who've tried to block our progress at every step of the way—is that we are going to rebuild this economy stronger than before, and at the heart of it are going to be three powerful words: Made in America," Obama said to union leaders' applause.
As the AFL-CIO Now blog noted, the president made clear how this upcoming election would be a choice between "polices that encourage job creation here in America or encourage jobs to go elsewhere...The choice is whether we want to go forward or we want to go backwards to the same policies that got us into this mess in the first place."
In truth, the ambitious pro-manufacturing agenda doesn't seem likely to be enough -- even if it managed to overcome GOP opposition and a politically nervous Democratic leadership -- to dramatically reduce the high unemployment and underemployment of roughly 20 percent. Or win over skeptical labor members and liberal activists.
"In truth, the ambitious pro-manufacturing agenda doesn't seem likely to be enough."
"In truth, the ambitious pro-manufacturing agenda doesn't seem likely to be enough."
"In truth, the ambitious pro-manufacturing agenda doesn't seem likely to be enough."
They are desparate to make Obama look like the hero he considers himself to be. The marginalized liberals don't even realize he has used them to the max. He tosses them a crumb and they scamper to get it and bow down to his "generousity".
