Prison guards routinely beat inmates and plant evidence on them, as cops do. They also lie to investigators and shield each others wrongdoing, immersed in a culture that embraces the "don't snitch" mentality of those they guard. Most prison contraband: money, drugs, knives originates from guards. They reap what they sew.
