Conservatives Target Openly Gay Houston Mayoral Candidate

A group of conservative ministers in Houston, Texas say they'll lead a campaign against Annise Parkers' mayoral runoff because she is a lesbian , the Houston Chronicle reported.

Unfortunately, this isn't a surprising development. Make no mistake, Dan Patrick and Hotze are attempting to slime Annise Parker as they are saying that any openly Gay person is automatically unqualified to be Mayor. Regardless of issues, regardless of policies, regardless of character, regardless of experience.

And Gene Locke is behind all of it. I'm wondering how Texas State (D?) Senator Whitmire feels about his endorsed candidates' actions.

The Holy Bible permits slavery; provided the slaves are from different countries, and states that people should be burned to death if they wear clothes made of 2 fabrics.

Locke need to explain if he supporrs Bibical approval of slavery and buring people who wear cotton/polyester shirts.

Have to take the whole Bible, can't pick and choose.
